Everything Will Be Ok

Without thinking, I sped up my pace. As I began to walk faster and faster, I took a turn onto my street when I could hear the car trailing straight behind me. I was definitely being followed, no doubt about it. My heart started to race as I just decided to sprint up the sidewalk. Whoever was driving the car behind me, kept on speeding up. I then took the courage to look back, but all I could see were the hands on the steering wheel of the car. It was much too dark for me to see the passenger’s face. As my house finally came into vision, I full on ran like I have never ran before. My heart was beating out of my chest once I finally reached the driveway and entered the house safely. I then quickly slammed the door behind me as I let out heavy breaths. “Hey babe. I thought you were going to call me to pick you up?” Gerard asked as he entered the room. “I did. I called you multiple times actually. Why didn’t you pick up?” I asked irritated. “I guess my phone was on silent or something because I don’t remember hearing it ring.” He then began to feel around his front and back pockets. “Where the hell is my phone?” I shrugged. “I don’t know. Did you misplace it?” He furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to think of where he could have left it. “Damnit I probably left it in my classroom. Fuck, I’m so stupid.” He cursed, thudding himself in the head with his palm. “Gee you can just get it tomorrow. I doubt anyone took it.” He ruffled his messy black hair. “I guess you’re right.” I chuckled. “Of course I’m right.”I teased as I gave him a light peck on the cheek. “Alright now let’s stop with all the fuss and get to bed.” I muttered as I dragged him up the stairs and to the bedroom.

As we finally made it to his room, we shut the door behind us. Gerard then began to take off his tie and jacket. “You wanna get lucky tonight sugar?” He asked with a seductive smirk. “Gee I’m tired. As much as I want to, can we do it another night?” He groaned. “Alright, but your loss.” He sassed as he stripped off his shirt and pants. I couldn’t help but gawk at his now, naked body. He grinned when he saw me looking at him. I quickly brought my focus away as I began to take off my own clothes, leaving me in only my bra and underwear. As I went to turn off the lights near the bedroom window, I gasped. Right outside the window was the same car, parked along the driveway of the house. Why the fuck was it still there? Was someone stalking me or something? I shivered at the thought, when Gerard turned to face me. “Is there something wrong?” He asked, giving me a concerned look. “N-no everything’s fine.” I gulped. “Are you sure? What are you looking at through that window?” He asked as he began to walk over to where I was. “Nothing…Nothing.” I lied as I quickly shut off the light and jumped into bed. “Taylor you’re acting funny. Is there something you’re not telling me?” He questioned as he laid himself beside me. “Gerard you know I would never hide anything from you. Now stop worrying.” I demanded as I rolled onto one side and covered my bare body in the blankets. “Fine. Goodnight…” He whispered. “Goodnight Gee.” I love you…” I mumbled as I began to hear his soft snoring from the other side of the bed.
