Everything Will Be Ok

***Taylor’s POV***
It was finally Monday morning, and I was completely dreading to go to school. After the scene I had made at dinner, I did not want to face neither Mikey nor Gerard. The old me would just decide not to go, but if I ditched school, then I would get in huge trouble by the school and Gerard would never let me hear the end of it.I finally accepted the fact that I just had to get the day over with and decided to get ready. As I finished up my makeup and hair, I got a text from Nathan. I rubbed my eyes to see the message clearer.

“Good morning beautiful! Meet me at the math classroom when you get to school. ;)” It read.

A wide grin spread across my face as I read the text. It seemed as if things were finally going my way for once. I quickly stuffed my phone in my back pocket and grabbed my bag. As I headed down the stairs and to the front door, I was awkwardly greeted by Mikey. “G-good morning…” He spoke in his raspy, morning voice. To be honest I could definitely say that his morning voice actually made him seem a bit sexy. I would actually consider using Mikey to make Gerard jealous, but I actually truly cared for him, unlike I did for Nathan. “Ready to go?” I asked him with a warm smile. “Yep!” I slipped on my bright red converse as we hurried out the door.

The walk there was kind of silent. We didn’t really say anything to each other which made me feel a bit awkward. The first thing I did when I stepped foot on campus, was head over to the math classroom like Nathan told me to do. “Hey there. “He greeted me with a smile. It felt weird to be in the presence of the boy who had attacked me a week earlier. “H-hi…” He could probably tell I was a bit tense. “Taylor, you don’t have to be nervous around me.” He said as he held my hand. “I know, I’m sorry.” I replied, as the bell signaling for first period rang. “We better get to class so were not late!” He exclaimed, as we hurried ourselves into the classroom followed by many other students.

Throughout the whole class period, Nathan kept making eye contact with me and smiling at me. Now that I was able to see the other side of him, I actually felt as if I was starting to get more attracted to him. It was really awkward though since I sit right next to Mikey, so I’m sure he saw Nathan staring at me. As the period dragged on, the bell finally rang. “Well I guess I’ll see you later.” Mikey mumbled. “Yeah I’ll see you later.” I replied as I walked back over to Nathan. “What class do you have next?” He asked. “Art.” I responded. “Would you like me to walk you there?” He asked as he smiled that generous smile of his. “Yeah that would be nice.” I said as we rushed out of the classroom. To be honest I felt kind of bad for leaving Mikey behind, since he usually walks me to class. I guess he will understand though. If I want my plan to work, I’m going to have to spend more time with Nathan than I do with Mikey. “Your bag looks kind of heavy. Here let me hold it for you.” He offered. “Are you sure?” I asked. “Of course.” He replied as I gave him my bag to carry. As we were almost to the art building, the bell for second period rang. “Shit, I’m late!” I exclaimed. We both began to run over to the classroom. Before I could open the door to let myself in, Gerard walked out to see both Nathan and I standing before him. “Mrs. Williams, why are you late?” He asked tapping his foot impatiently. “Well, are you going to answer me?” I had never heard this kind of tone in his voice before. “I-I…” Gerard then turned his gazes over to Nathan. His eyes widened. “And who is this?” I was completely speechless. “Mr. Way meet Nathan...”
