Land of Teenage Dirtbags

We decide to go swimming today. I walk to Dan and Ashley's cabin after changing into my bathing suit and throwing a tank top and shorts over it. I swing open their door and walk in. I see Rian standing awkwardly off to the side.

"Hey Rian, what are you doing here?" I ask.

"Just, you know, hanging out," He says looking around.
Dan walks out of the bathroom in her bathing suit and grabs a towel off her bed.

"Ashley's already down at the lake, so it's just us three," she informs.

"Oh okay. Hey I need to borrow a towel," I tell her.

"Why?" She asks, squinting her eyes a little.

"Who knew boys took so many showers?" I shrug. Frank and Gerard had used all the towels in our cabin until we get our laundry done.
She shrugs and tosses me a towel. She leads us outside and we start our walk to the lake.

"So have Gerard or Frank made any moves on you yet?" Dan nudges me with her elbow and grins.

"No," I giggle slightly while Rian gives us a look I can't quite decipher.

Dan gasps and says, "Rian! What did you and the guys talk about last night?"

"Stuff," he shrugs.

"Duh, but did you talk about, I dunno, Leda?"

"Maybe."

"Tell us!" She begs, grabbing his arm.

"Why?" He laughs at her begging.

"Because Leda deserves to know what you guys said about her," she says crossing her arms.

"Okay okay, I'll just tell you that everyone agrees that you're hot," he tells us, directing it at me.

She walks the rest of the way satisfied with the answer for now. We arrive to everyone sitting around on the dock.

"Hey look who's here," Alex points from his position on his back, causing everyone to look at us.

"Finally," Ashley huffs, giggling afterwards.

"Yes, finally! Me, Leda, and Rian the potato have arrived," Dan announces dramatically. We walk onto the dock and sit down. I sit next to Gerard and near Mikey, who keeps looking at me.

"Why is no one swimming?" Dan laughs.

Everyone shrugs before Ashley gets up and jumps into the water.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Zack shouts after getting splashed by the water.

"Swimming," she says in a 'duh' tone and rolling her eyes.

"Wanna get in?" Gerard whispers in my ear.

"When a few more people get in," I whisper back.
I catch Mikey watching us before he quickly looks away. Everyone starts getting in and I stand up to take off the clothes covering my swimsuit. I glance at Alex who's smirking at me, and Mikey who's glaring at him. I look over at Gerard in time to see him look away and turn his attention to Frank.

Suddenly Alex picks me up bridal style and walks to the edge of the dock.

"Ready?" He teases, swinging me back and forth threatening to throw me into the water.

"No!" I shriek, wrapping my arms tightly around his neck.

Everyone laughs, including Alex.

"Throw her in!" Frank starts chanting, followed by everyone else.

I sigh in defeat and plug my nose, ready to be tossed in. Alex swings back and throws me forward, except he falls in after me. Everyone howls with laughter, Ashley still in the water and trying not to drown. I laugh as well, swimming over to him and splashing water in his face.

Everyone gets in soon after and it starts getting dark. We all start heading back to our cabins and Mikey walks up to me.

"Hey Mikey," I grin.

"Hi," he says quietly, sounding destracted.

"Hey, what's on your mind, Mikes?"

He pauses a moment before standing still and grabbing my arm, causing me to stop walking, too.

"W-um. D-do you wanna, maybe..." He takes a deep breath before saying it quickly.

"Do you wanna go out with me?"
