What's the Worst thing I can Say?
Sixth Chapter
She gave me the worst look you could ever give someone: the blank look. I couldn't tell if she was elated or depressed or horrified, or all of the above. I needed to pull her out of her current state, the only way was to create smalltalk.
"So, what's your name?" I asked politely.
"Logan," she answered. "You?"
"Gerard."
She grinned. "Gerald?"
"No L just R," he explained. "Gerard."
"Gerard?"
"Wouldn't have said it better myself."
She laughed. God, I actually made a girl laugh.
