The Light Behind Your Eyes

Frank's POV
Suddenly I was seeing red as my blood was boiling. I was seething in anger over what I had just seen. I seen a half naked Izzy in Gerard's arms. Kissing. I turned on my heel and stormed out of the basement. I can't be here. I need to leave before I kill someone.
"Frank wait! Gee go after him!" I heard Izzy shout after me.

I stormed through the buzzing house cracking my knuckles and clenching my jaw in anger, I couldn't get the image of them together out of my mind. What the hell was that? Was it just a one time drunk thing? Has it happened before? Were they gonna have sex? Have they already slept together? Did they sleep together when Izzy was with me? Are they dating? Does she like him? or worse...does she love him? Is she over me? Fuck me, I think my brains gonna explode.
"FRANK YOU MADE IT!" Bob said pulling me in for an embrace, I pushed him off me and before I had even realized what I was doing I had pinned him against the closest wall.
"What the hell man" Bob said
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!" I yelled
"Tell you what?" Bob asked as I tightened my grip on him
"DON'T FUCKING PLAY DUMB!"
"Frank dude, i've no idea what you're talking about"
"I'm talking about GERARD AND IZZY" I said finally releasing Bob
"What? wh-what about them?" He asked as he steadied himself, by this stage the music had stopped and everyone was looking at us.
"Frank! Bob didn't know, none of them did" Gerard said as he appeared through the crowd.
"Know what?" Lana asked. Gerard stopped looking at me and was now gazing at the floor.
"Go on Gerard, tell them" I spat through my teeth.
"Frank! I'm sorry please let us explain!" Izzy said as she pushed her way through the crowd. I looked at her, she was staring at me with sad eyes, she seemed genuinely upset, but still it didn't make a difference. I couldn't feel anything right now. I was numb.
"Gee and I...it's just sex...we never meant to hurt you" she pleaded.
I don't know why but this made me snap, maybe it was because she just admitted that they had slept together, that Gerard my supposed best friend just violated my sweet Izzy. Or maybe it's because she said it was 'just sex' was that supposed to make me feel better? Maybe if they had actual feelings for each other then I could understand.

Before I knew what I was doing I had already lunged at Gerard and tackled him to the ground. I straddled Gerard. I had him by the scruff of his neck and punched him with my right hand, I heard a crack, i'm pretty sure I just broke his nose. Bob pulled me off of Gerard, I stood up raising my fists in front of me.
"C'mon, lets settle this like men!"
"I'm not fighting you Frank" Gerard replied
"Don't take the high road now Gee! don't act like the good guy! Not now! Not after what you've done! What? are you a pussy fuck Gee? You scared that i'm gonna fuck you up?" I shouted as I was pushing him over and over again. I guess I finally pushed him over the edge because that's when he took a swing for me. My eye sight went a little fuzzy for a split second and Gerard had tackled me. We were rolling on the floor throwing punches, I got a good few hits in but I have to admit, so did he. The adrenaline was pumping through my veins like crazy, I wasn't even thinking anymore, it's like I became a crazy possessed demon. I couldn't see anything except for Gerard, I lost my ability to hear or feel. I had straddled Gerard and tightly gripped my hands around his neck. I was staring Gerard dead in the eye as he struggled to breathe, I was being driven by nothing but sheer rage, fury and pain then I was brought back to my senses as I heard Izzy screaming.

"STOP IT! FRANK! YOU'RE KILLING HIM!"
Immediately I released Gerard from my grasp and stood up backing away slowly while looking at my hands. How did I let it get that far? Was I ever gonna stop strangling him? Izzy was now by Gerards side holding his face as he gasped for air. She stroked his head and was comforting him, it was clear where I stood now. It was him she cared for, not me. I was just a monster. I ran out of the house and didn't stop. I just kept running until finally I couldn't run anymore. I collapsed down on the pavement, I felt lightheaded, all I could taste was blood and I could barely see out of my left eye. I sparked up a fag as I began to cry. What's going on? In one day my whole life has just been turned upside down again. I couldn't process my feelings, there was too many of them, I felt betrayed by Izzy, Gerard and even Jess. Everything was royally fucked now. My phone was buzzing like mad, it was Bob. I just couldn't speak to him right now, I can't speak to anyone, not just yet.

When I had calmed myself down a bit, I decided to make my way back to Gerard's because I left the car there. When I arrived at Gerard's I noticed the place was way to quiet. Clearly our bust up brought an end to the party. As I unlocked the car door Mikey appeared at the porch.
"Frank!"
"Look Mikes, I'm not lookingfor trouble. I'm just trying to go home" I said defensively
"Have you seen or heard from Izzy?"
"No, why? what's happened?" I asked my heart now racing
"She's gone, she locked herself in my room and now she's gone, she left all of her shit here so the girls are waiting at her house in case she goes back there and Bob and...Gee are roaming the streets looking for her. Do you have any idea where she might be?" Mikey questioned
"Yeah...I might know." I said before climbing in the car and speeding off to the only place Izzy could be. The cemetery. Fuck this place was eerie at night. As I was walking the path toward's her mom's grave, I could see the outline of her body kneeling before her mom's tomb stone and I could hear quiet whimpers and sniffling. She didn't even seem to flinch as I approached her.
"How did you know I was here?" She choked out
"Because I know you" I answered
