“Gerard, I know you wasn’t going to kill us!” I yelled in happiness and hugged him. Frank looked awkwardly at us “Really? Because your look was saying that you knew that you were going to die.” Frank said. “You don’t remember me but you remember how to say unnecessary comments.” I said to Frank. “I don’t know, it’s maybe my personality. But one thing I remember is the pain and this motherfucker just cut my arm! Give me something to stop the bleeding!” Frank said. Gerard looked at his wound and then at mine. “Yeah, sorry.” Gerard said and ran to a table and brought some weird blue liquid. He walked towards Frank. “Don’t move he said.” Gerard said and Frank nodded, then Gerard spreaded the liquid all over Frank’s wound. “What the fuck is this?! It hurts like hell!” Frank said. Then Gerard turned to me and did the same. Frank was right, that thing hurt more than you can imagine. “I’m serious now, what the fuck is this? It’s amazing.” I heard Frank saying more calmed. He was looking at his arm where his wound was supposed to be, but there was no wound. I then looked at my arm and the same happened, my wound was gone. “I don’t know exactly what it is, but I know it cures things.” Gerard explained.

“Well, let’s stop the talking and let’s get you two out of here before that Albert-idiot comes back.” Gerard said. “Where are we going exactly?” I asked Gerard. “Out of the refuge.” Gerard said as he walked outside the room followed by Frank and me. “Outside? Aren’t there zombies?” I asked. “Don’t worry. There won’t be so many. Remember that we turned many of them into humans, including you too.” Gerard said. “But before that, can’t you do something to Frank’s memory? I want him to remember me…” I said. “But did I really loved you? You don’t seem like the type of girl I will fall with.” Frank said. “Maybe, but you did.” I said. “I’m sorry, I don’t even know where his lost of memory comes from.” Gerard said. We kept walking following Gerard until we reached a door, but as exception from the others, this door was black and white capital letters on it that said ‘MORGUE’. “Gerard, why are we here?” I asked. “Don’t worry, it’s not true. It’s just for people to not escape from here.” Gerard explained as he reached his pocket for a key and then opened the door revealing the street. “Why is here so many security? Why are people not allowed to leave their rooms? This is more than a refuge, isn’t it?” I asked to Gerard and he sighed. “Just go.” He muttered pushing the both of us outside. “But won’t you get in trouble if we go?” I asked. “I am going to get in trouble for sure. But I don’t care.” Gerard said. “What? Come with us! I won’t let you get in trouble in that mad place!” I said. “Oh, Aldryn. I really wish I could escape from here with you two. But there something in this place you won’t ever understand, it seems like a refuge but you are right, it isn’t. There’s something really terrifying about this place and I’m part of this place. This seems like a refuge but that’s not true, now tell me, what do I seem?” Gerard said. “Gerard… what are you talking about?” I asked confused. “Nothing here it what it seems.” He said. “Gerard, please. What is happening?” I asked scared. “Just go away from this place and never come back.” Gerard said and then looked back. “They are looking for you! Run!” He said and quickly closed the door leaving Frank and I outside. “I think we should do what he said.” Frank said to me and I nodded don’t really knowing what had happened.
