"So he wanted to leave you so you won't get hurt because of him... wow, I thought he was a piece of shit." Gerard said, more to himself than to me. "Yeah, I know. It surprised me a lot. But it made me very sad that he thinks that all those things were his fault." I said. "You could have told him that it wasn't his fault because his friend would have died if he wasn't there, I guess that girl called Jamia would have turned into a zombie even if she didn't know Frank... the only thing that would have changed is the one about his parents." Gerard said. "What the fuck? Gerard! That would have been completely rude!" I said angrily. "What's the matter? He have been very rude to you all this time." He said. I opened my eyes and stared in silence at the ceiling. I knew that when I turn my head to my side, Frank would not be there. By now he was probably far away from here. "What's so interesting in the ceiling?" I stood up jumping because of Frank's voice. "You scared me! I thought I was alone." I said looking at him lying on the floor and he laughed. "I woke up some minutes ago, but I was very lazy to stand up. Then I saw you opening your eyes and then stare at the ceiling." He said. "You woke up just some minutes ago?" I asked and he nodded. "I thought you were going to wake up early." I said. "It's early. I guess you didn't sleep very much." He said. "Wow, that's weird coming from me." I said and he laughed. "Maybe you were nervous because I am going to leave you." He said. "Oh it's true... You are leaving now, don't you?" I said. "Not now, it's not funny if you are looking." He said. "Wait, what? Do you think that is funny?" I asked a little annoyed. "Yes but not in that way, what I mean is that, well... just ignore me, I understand myself." He said.

"So, when are planning on leaving me then?" I asked curiously. "Well, I don't know exactly, I guess I can stay with you one more day and leave when you are sleeping." He said. Somehow it made me happy knowing that he was going to stay a little more with. I don't know why but I think I started to like his company. "If you don't want me tk get hurt, why do you want to go? I think I would be more save with you by my side." I said and he laughed. Why was he laughing? "Oh girl, you got it all wrong. I don't care if you get hurt at least it's not my fault." He said. "Congratulations! You were been nice and now you ruined it!" I said annoyed. "Yep, that's me. But why do you want me to stay with you?" He asked in a curious tone. "To have an human shield." I said trying to avoid saying that I enjoyed his company. "I think that you would be the shield, girl." He said. "I doubt it." I said.

"And by the way, can you please call me by name?" I said annoyed by the fact that he always calls me 'girl'. "I can't, I forgot your name." He said and I sighed. "It's Aldryn." I said. "I didn't ask you to remind it to me." He said. "I know, but I want you to call me by my name." I said. "I'm not going to do what you want, GIRL." He said smirking and giving emphasis to the word girl.
