Party Poison

Good Girl Gone Bad

"Miss Reid!" Mr.Verdi exclaimed. "Just what do you think you're doing, being late on the first day?" "I'm sorry, sir." Robin pleaded. "I just lost track of time." "Well, since I have only heard good things about you from your past teachers," Mr.Verdi smiled "I won't write you up..." he added "this time." "Oh thank you so much Mr.Verdi!" Robin glowed. "Now would you kindly take your late pass to the office?" Robin nodded agreeably, thankful of her good fortune.

Robin set her books down on a nearby desk located in the front row. Maya and Alice were seated in the second row, next to each other. Alice appeared to be sharing a story about her family when, Maya caught Robin's eye and smirked haughtily. Robin promptly hung her head and skittered out of the classroom cautiously. She grew morose at the thought of spending another school year with Maya and Alice as her only "friends".

When Robin returned to Mr.Verdi's homeroom, she noted that several students appeared to be glaring at her. She even thought she heard one girl say "teacher's pet". That caused Robin's skin to pale which, was quite noticable since her natural skin tone was so white. "Here we go again," she thought instantly.

The thoughts of death abruptly pierced her mind. "You deserve to die, you f***ing lowlife!" she screamed mentally. "No one likes you, so how could they ever love you. No one would give a damn if you died! Just jump out the motherf***ing window and die already!" She then imagined herself crashing through one of the large, brightly lit windows on the other side of the classroom, the left. The glass smashed radically and punctured her sickly pale skin.

She awoke from her daydream of death when she quickly glanced about the room. She saw the whole class of approximately thirty five students staring at her judgmentally. She mentally flipped off the wall when she realized she was just standing in the front of the room, gazing at a giant bay window.

She gulped as Mr.Verdi spoke. "Miss Reid!" he sternly yelled, losing his patience. "Do you care to explain as to why you are standing about moronically, as if you have no control over your legs?!" "I am so, so, very sorry Mr.Verdi." Robin sputtered as she dropped her gaze to the floor. "I don't know what overcame me." Thankfully, the bell that signaled the end of homeroom decided to ring three short, ear shatteringly loud times.

As Robin failed to shuffle out of the class along with all the other pupils, she heard her teacher speak yet again. "I'll be seeing you after class, Miss Reid." He smirked at her with power in his beady eyes. He handed her a white form that read "Dear student, you are hereby sentenced to two hour's detention after all lessons for the day have been completed." Mr.Verdi had sloppily written Robin's name down in a box at the bottom of the paper that contained the date as well. Robin sighed deeply after taking the paper from Mr.Verdi. "Oh joy," she thought to herself "my first detention sentence on my first day of sophmore year."

She thought of the good things that had happened today; she met the "oh, so good-looking" Gerard and the hilarious pipsqueak, Carly. She knew that no matter what good things came her way, she was still a failure. She yearned for the sweet, sweet relief of her razor blade.

@One-Uncommon-Killjoy
I was asking because I had lost my mysterious plot; I say mysterious because I didn't plot it out, and had and have no idea where I'm going. I have not worked on the story for about two months, and was wondering if this creative outlet would be one to keep in my available arsonal. Also, I have previously viewed others use this method of gauging their viewing audience's pleasure or displeasure with their work. To all, thank you for caring!XD
