Party Poison
After school
At long last, the bell that signalled the end of the school day rang. Robin scurried to her locker whilst trying to stay out of the way of the frenzying students. She gathered her needed materials and speed walked to the front steps of the school where, Gerard promised he would meet her. She pushed open the front doors to find Gerard standing in the shade of a gargantuan Weeping Willow, awaiting her arrival faithfully.
"Hey, stranger!" Robin called to him as she maneuvered through the dwindling number of students. "Hey!" he said when she reached him. "So, shall we venture onwards, Madame?" he asked playfully. He extended his bent right arm to he with a charming smile. "Why, yes, my good Sir." she replied in the same manner as she linked her left arm with his. She glowed inwardly at being in contact with Gee.
Robin's mind wandered to Gerard's friends; she wondered what they were like. "Hey, Gee?" she spoke in a questioning tone. "Hm?" he looked down at her expectantly. She dreamily sighed at his expression mentally. "Could you tell me a bit about your friends?" "Sure." he answered. "They are all pretty easygoing, funny, and can be childish at times."
"No, Gee. I asked what your friends were like, not you." Robin giggled. She shoved him jokingly. "I could say the same about you." he countered. "Touché my friend, touché." Robin said. They arrived on Arrow Street. "Which house is yours?" he questioned. "The light blue one with red shutters and brown trim on the corner." she described it for him. "Awesome!" he exclaimed. "You're my next-door-neighbor." "Cool."
They stepped off the curb and Gee unlinked his arm and grabbed a hold of Robin's hand. "Don't want you getting run over." he explained nervously, even though there wasn't a vehicle, nevermind person, in sight. He just hoped that he wasn't being too obvious.
