Dreams Never Come True
Discovery Part 2
"Hey Britt, let me check my Twitter!" I scream to my cousin.
She is 14 and my only friend, which is sad. Brittany has been my friend since i remember and we have been through thick and thin together. One time we sat on the computer doing Omegle chats all night. But one bad thing about her is that she is a computer hog.
"C'mon, let me tweet one more thing!"
"No."
I push her out of thechair and she just giggles. I log her out of her Twitter as she is getting up and she pouts in my usual chair. I peek at her and burst out laughing. She is so immature. I log in and tweet another quote. I look at my account page and check to see if i have any followers. I have one, but i start screaming.
"Wow! Who followed you?!" Exclaims Brittany.
"I dont think you would believe me.."
She looks at the screen and starts screaming too,
"Gerard Way followed you! No fucking way!"
I giggle and stare in amazement. Gerard Way followed me on Twitter! What made me so special? I check my messages and scream for the second time in less than a minute. He sent me a message! I click on it and see this pop on the screen, are you the real Jazmine Dray?
I type back, Yes. Are you the real Gerard Way?
My cousin takes me out of my train of thought, "Why the hell is Gerard Way messaging you?"
"How am i supposed to know?"
I see the blue dot next to the envelope and click on it. He messaged back. Do you have Skype? So we can talk face to face.
I dont have one, but can u give me your number?
I wait a few seconds and the blue dot is back. Sure! Its 734-9981.
I call him and he picks up on the 2nd ring. "Hello?"
"Hey, its Jazmine." Britt's jaw drops to the floor.
"Oh, hi! I saw you video on YouTube."
I blush and say," It was just a joke. My cousin dared me to!"
He laughs and i can hear the sickness in his voice. Poor Gerard. "So, I think you have a major talent, a giftif i might say. We loved the video. Me and the guys are here and we saw it."
Oh. My. God. they all saw my video. "Really?"
"Yeah. Where do you live?"
I tell him my address and he says he will come up here tomarrow. I say goodbye and after i hang up, i faint.
