look Alive Sunshine

--- 3 months later----
We drove further down the dirt rode hiding my face deeper into poisons back trying to keep out dirt. We came to a stop and I looked up to see an old diner. The windows were boarded up and front door was too. The only thing that wasn’t was a broken window. I pick up the tool box and walked around the side to the back door. I pulled on it to see if it was locked. Well I guess it was but it snapped right out of the frame. We walked in and the place was in descent condition. Most of the stuff was in tacked and there was surprisingly enough light.
“I like this place don’t you.” Poison said wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his head on my shoulder.
“I love this place. We should call in to tell them we found a new hid out.” I said childish and pecked his cheek.
We talked and he wants me to come with him and the rest. I think that was what I was worried about before. The thought of him leaving me was just god awful.
He called in and I started to look around. There is a perfect place for bedrooms and the bathroom is still useable. All the other places were completely crap but this is like a five star hotel. When he got off he wrapped his arms around me again and hugged me tight. I hugged back and kissed him on his cheek. We walked back to the motorcycle and head back home.
---Time lapse----
We came back to the diner with all of our stuff (which isn’t much). We unloaded quickly before dark. I felt weird not being at the station. I kind of felt bad that I had to leave D behind but it was time for me to move out anyways. Plus who wouldn’t want to fight a long side the fabulous Killjoys. During that 3 month time period Poison and I got closer which was nice. Also jet got a really crappy cold last month and still has it. So for the past couple of weeks I had to nurse him. He’s fine now but he gets cough fits a lot.
“Hey we need to get stuff set up for tonight.” Said Kobra dragging me away from my train of thought. I followed him to the back room where we are all sleeping. I got to work piling blankets and pillows knowing that it is going to be freezing tonight. By the time we were done we all looked horribly tired so we called it a night.
I didn’t sleep as peacefully. I kept waking up every couple hours with the same nightmare. By the third time I woke up I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I jumped open and grabbed my knife but quickly recognized the red hair. I couldn’t see the face cause of the darkness but I knew it was Poison. I laid back down into his arms and he pulled me close. I felt so safe for once and I don’t ever want it to go away. I fell asleep soundly and didn’t wake up with nightmares for the rest of the night.
