The Silver Lining

Lola's POV

"Are you ready to get back home?" Gerard asked, pullin me into his arms from behind.

"Of course." I said, turning around and smiling up at him.

"Good, then let's get our luggage and get into that cab."

We had just exited to plane and were now running to the luggage pickup. Gee, Mikey, Alica, and me quickly grabbed our bags and jumped into the cab, waving bye to Frank and Ray. We zoomed off towards Gerard and Mikey's house, happy to get a little break before heading back on your with them. We quickly arrived at their house and ran in.

"It feels so good to be home!" Mikey said, putting down his bags and taking a deep breath of the Jersey air before he unlocked the door and we all slid in, luggage at hand.

"Coffee?" Mikey asked as he ran into the kitchen.

"Please!" Gerard, Alicia and me yelle back before Gerard and Alicia flopped onto the couch.

"U-Um, Gee?" He looked up from his phone and smiled at me in reply. "Where's the bathroom?"

"Last door to the right." He said pointing down the hallway. I speed walked to the bathroom, shutting and locking the door behind me before I spilled my guts into the toilet again. I stood up from my previous spot infront of the toilet and looked at my face, seeing the tears fall down my cheeks. I quickly flushed the toilet, rinsed my mouth out and splashed cool water on my face.

"Lo, are you okay?" Mikey knocked on the door.

"Y-Yeah." I sighed. Before I unlocked the door:

"Are you sure?" He gave me a suspicious look before I quickly looked down and replied with a small 'yes'.

"Mikey! Brian just called and we need to have a meeting at the studio." Gerard called down the hallway to us.

"Okay." Mikey said before turning back to me and smiling. "Your sure you'll be okay?"

"M-Mikey, I said I'll be fine." I smiled reassuringly. He quickly pulled me into a hug before he padded down the hallway with me fallowing behind.

"We'll be back in about an hour." Gee said before he pulled me into a kiss and flashed out the door with Mikey at his side.

"A-Alicia?" I asked. She looke up from the tv to look at my distressed face.

"Oh, Lola, what's wrong?" She jumped up and walked over to me.

"I-um. I-I think I might be pregnant." I choked out. Looking at the ground which I could hardly see due to my protruding belly.

"W-What?!" She gasped before pulling me into a hug.

"B-But I don't know. I n-need a pregnancy test before I know for sure. But, I um .… I don't have any money. And I can't ask Gerard yet, I don't want him to know." I stuttered fastly.

"Lola, honey." She lifted my gaze from my feet and made me look at her. "I'll get you one if you need."

"Really?" I asked, surprised.

"If you need one." She grabbed her coat. "There's a store not to far from here. I'll be right back with one."

I pulled led her into a hug quickly. "Thank you. You are amazing." She hugged back before she pulled away and ran out the door.

I sat on the couch, waiting for Alicia to return. Like she said she returned quickly, only takin about five minute to get there and back with a pregnancy test. She handed it to me and I clambered down the hallway and into the bathroom.

"O-Oh shit." I said as I sat on the floor, waiting for the results. The green soon appeared, letting me know I was pregnant.

"Lola. Let me in." Alicia knocked on the door. I quickly unlocked it before going in the corner of the room and putting my head in my hands. She picked up the test and gasped.

"I-I'm pregnant, Alicia. I'm fucking knocked up!" I yelped as tears streamed down my face. A body quickly appeared beside me and pulle me into a hug. "W-We can't tell Gerard." I whispered.

"Lo, I know your scared but y-you have to tell him. You can't keep a secret like this from him." She looked into my face seriously.

"I-I can't! What if her rejects me?! No one wants a fucked up 18 year old with a horrible past." I pulled away and buried my face in my knees.

"Gerard isn't like that." She stated simply. "And you can't really keep it from him. Her stomach is going to be huge soon."

"But-" I started.

"No buts." She said, standing up and offering her hand down to me which I took and stood up. "Your telling him."

She quickly threw away the test in the small trash can beside the toilet before wrapping her arm around me in a right side hug and leading me into the kitchen.

She he handed me a cup of coffee she just heated up which I took gratefully. I sat at the island and wrapped my hands around the warm mug before sipping it.

"We're back!" I heard Frank yell before the door slammed shut again. i looked up with wide eyes at Alicia.

"Calm down. Just tell Gee tomorrow." She said soothingly. I relaxed a bit before Frank burst into the kitchen.

"Oh, coffee!" He smiled and grabbed a mug before sitting next to me.Ray walked in awkwardly before grabbing some coffee and sitting at the dining room table. Gerard came in and quickly joined Ray, talking about something I couldn't hear.

"You know what I was thinking?" Mikey said as he walked in and wrapped his arms around Alicia's waist from behind and resting his head on her shoulder.

"What?" Alicia asked, taking a another sup of her coffee.

"We should all watch a movie. I rented Texas chainsaw Massacre!!!" I smiled, nodding approvingly at his offer as everyone else yelled a chorus of 'yeahs!'

We all settled around the living room, facing the TV as Mikey turned in the movie and quickly snugged in between me and Alicia. The movie was more graphic then the last time I saw it and I clung to Gerard's arm the whole time. Soon it ended and Mikey looked over to me and laughed. I glared at him before yawning.

"I'm tired." Frank announced, stretching himself out over Ray who he was sitting on the love seat with.

"Me too." Ray announced, putting his head back.

"You guys are welcome to crash here." Gerard said before standing up. "But I'm going to bed."

I stood with him "Me too." Soon Alicia and Mikey were walking into Mikey's room and snuggling in bed as me and Gerard headed down the hall to his room. we quickly snuggled under the covers and fell asleep.

I woke up to the smell of coffee and Gerard's arms wrapped firmly around my waist.

"Morning." He mumbled as he opened his eyes to see me.

"Good morning." I smiled before kissing his nose and unwrapping his arms from around me.

"Nooo, come back!" Gee whined, grabbing for me as I slid out of bed.

"I smell coffee and now I need coffee." I announced. He sprang from bed and out the door, dragging me with him.

"Morning." Mikey smiled at us from the Kitchen where everyone was sitting. I quickly stole a mug before heading to the table with Alicia.

"Did you tell him?" She whispered in my ear. I nodded my head no and she frowned. She opened her mouth to say something else before she was interrupted.

"I need to piss." Mikey announced as he put his mug down beside Gerard's on the table and walking out.

"Thanks for telling us!" Gerard laughed as Mikey walked down the hallway. I was happy I wasn't having morning sickness yet. We all quietly sipped our coffee until Mikey came back in, looking dumbfounded.

"Alicia?" I looked up at him and saw he was holding … my fucking pregnancy test. "Are you pregnant?!"

"N-No-" she stammered. All eyes quickly landed in me. I looked at my feet before quietly saying .

"I'm … I'm the one that Pregnant." everyone gasped. I kept my gaze low.

"Congratulations!" Everyone but Gerard andRay announced as they ran over and brought me into a group hug.

"Th-Thanks guys." I said blushing and still looking at my feet.

"How long did you know?!" Gerard asked in a stern voice looking up at me with hurt eyes.

"I j-just took the pregnancy test yesterday." I finally choked out, honestly scared if the look he had on his face.

"And you didn't tell me yesterday?!" He raised his voice.

"G-Gerard. I just, the guys came over and everyone was here. I'm sorry." my voice was scratchy as I held back the tears. I knew Gerard wouldn't want me anymore.

"O-Okay." His shoulders relaxed as he looked up at me and smiled. "W-Were having a baby!" He ran over to me and engulfed me in a tight hug.

We all hugged and we got a chorus of congratulations from Frank, Mikey, and Alicia. "Ray?" Frank asked, looking across the room at Ray still sitting in the table.

"What?" He looked up at us with a mixture of anger and sadness.

"Why aren't you over here with us? Congratulating them?!" Mikey looked up at him too.

"Don't you think she's a little young?!" He snarled before walking out and into the bathroom. Gerard started towards the bathroom before I stopped him. Everyone was stunned.

"I'll go talk to him. See what's really wrong." I stammered before I walked out of the kitchen and towards the bathroom. I walked down the hallway before knocking on the door lightly.

"Who is it?" He asked sternly.

"L-Lola." I stammered. I couldn't say I wasn't scared or I would be lying.

"What the fuck do you want?!" E spat in my face as he opened the door.

"C-Can we talk?" I stammered, cowering away from him a bit before walking in the bathroom with him. "What's wrong?"

"You know what's wrong." He said flatly.

"N-No Ray, I honestly don't. I really miss that short friendship we had on the first day. I feel like you hate me now." I stammered out, looking at the ground.

"You shouldn't have done what you did then." He said looking really hurt. "J-Just get out."

"But Ray-" I started.

"NO LOLA. JUST GET OUT! OUT!" He said, pushing me back. I fell into the the hallway with a loud thud before he slammed the door. I backed into the wall before pulling my legs to my chest and burying my face into my knees before letting out my loud sobs.
