My Honest Observation

(Lauren's POV)
My parents... Both if my parents were found dead. My mom and dad were driving to a group therapy for divorced parents and they were hit by a drunk driver, aka, my stepdad //glad he's dead// I shake my head to get those thoughts out of my head. They all died... I look at Bob. He asked whose body was found. I gulp. "Mom, dad, and Jack…" I mumble and Bob stumble backward. He went upstairs. "I'm gonna sleep now." Ray followed him and as soon as Bob fell asleep, he texts me. Ray: hey, can I come down?
me: sure!
Ray: <3
Ray makes his way down the stairs slowly and he knocks on my door. "Come in," I whisper and he slowly opens the door and walks in. He closes it after him and he walks over to my bed and sits down beside me. "Can I sleep here?" He asks. I nod and smile. He lays down and pulls me onto his chest. I try to stay strong, but I break down crying into his arms. I cry and cry. He rubs my head and kisses it softly. "Sleep please…" he says and I gently nuzzle my head into his chest. I shut my eyes and I drift off into a motionless, dreadful sleep of nightmares.

(Ray POV)

i finally got Lauren to fall asleep. She wasn't crying anymore. Now I can finally sleep. "Goodnight… I love you…" I wrap my arms around her waist and I slowly fall asleep.
