Coffee Beans

***Geard's POV***

Oh shit. I quickly put my coffee beside me and flung back the covers. I grabbed my clothes off the floor and hopped back into my jeans and threw on my t-shirt. I ran to the bathroom where April was desperately putting on make-up and brushing her hair. I splashed my face and ruffled my hair a little more so I looked more unkempt, rather than homeless. I ran downstairs and sat at the table, awaiting my fate with her parents. They couldn't know I've been crashing here and sleeping with their daughter for a week.

April followed my downstairs. Skinny jeans and a band t-shirt on with my coffee in her hand. "If anyone asks, you're helping me with my money."
I nodded as the door opened, two voices were happily chattering.
April turned the corner and grabbed a suitcase, pulling it into the living room. A semi-elderly couple walked in and looked straight at the tall man in black hair dye sitting at their table, "Hello." The woman said hesitantly.
I stood up and walked over, "Hello, I'm Gerard Way. April and I were just having a discussion about her financial independence." big, boring words rolled off my tongue, I hope they made sense because I had no idea what I had just said.
"Sorry Mom, just didn't want to have a meeting at my apartment." April shrugged.
"Sorry for coming on such short notice." I smiled and sat back down.
Her parents went upstairs and we could both hear them scuffling and muttering in their room. I took a deep breath and looked at April. She looked back at me. We both knew we had to find another way to be together.
