It Started With An Alright Scene

Frank's Pov
I could definitely tell Gerard was happier. He smiled a lot more, and he always sang. Even if he was just cooking, he would start singing and hearing him sing made me happy.
We were finally done unpacking, and tonight we were supposed to go to the movies with Jack and Alex.
Jack and Alex were our only real friends in this neighborhood, but I didn't mind. They were great guys, and they were always willing to help us out if we needed it. They helped us with most of the unpacking, and they were going to help me pick out a present for Gee's birthday, which was coming up. He was going to be 21, and I really wanted to do something special.

"Hey, Guys." I greeted Jack and Alex as they came though the front door. They waved at me and sat down next to me on the couch. "Where's Gee?" Jack asked. Gerard came down the stairs. "I'm right here, guys. I just had to get dressed for the movie. Jack and Alex nodded and I stood up off the couch. I walked over to him and took his hand. Jack and Alex got up and linked hands, then followed us out the door. I turned around and locked the door, then we all piled into my car.

When we got to the movies, we bought our tickets and some popcorn. We went into the theatre and picked our seats, way in the back.


When the movie was over, we got up and stretched our limbs. "That was a pretty good movie, guys." Alex said and we all agreed. We left the theatre and drove back to Gee and I's house. When we got there, Gee went into the kitchen to make some dinner. Jack, Alex, and I all went and sat on the front porch. "So, do you have everything ready for Gee's present?" Alex asked me as I blew smoke out of my mouth from my cigarette. "I think so. I am probably going to make sure tomorrow, before I show it to him." I said and he nodded. "It's a great idea, Frank. I'm sure he's going to love it." I looked at him and smiled. "I sure hope so."
