You're someone you're not

-a few days later in dc-
i convinced my mom to let me go alone to dc which was cool I guess. Dc was cold and I was not prepared. I had spent my 50$ the first night on long sleeved clothes. Jersey is always hot. Also I didn't know what to do the rest of the time I'm here. For the country's capital it's kind of boring.
i walked around some park next to my hotel. Dc really is weird, half the city is tourists and the other bit are actually working people. I found a half pack of cigarettes in the parking lot of my hotel. Which was cool. I pulled out the half pack from my black trench coat pocket. I lit it and took a long drag leaning on a tree. I reached back into my pocket and pulled out a folded up flyer.

it showed the drawing I did. Faded in the background is parts of the constitution. In the middle is some soldiers helping a little girl in a war zone. It wasn't my best but it wasn't bad.

" that kids pretty talented, huh?" A teen walked over to me nodding at the flyer. So people had already heard about me.
" Yeah, guess so," I said. A small smile danced across the guy's face. He had hazel eyes and longish brown hair that curled around his ears. He was wearing a grey cardigan with black elbow pads, a misfits shirt and ripped black skinny jeans.
" I dig your shirt," I said. He pulled the shirt down to look at it like he couldn't remember what he was wearing.
" yeah they're sick. I like yours too," he said a lit a cig of his own. I felt the hem of my grey smiths shirt.
" Wouldn't it be cool if Morrissey was in the misfits," I said repeating something mikey said all the time. The guys eyes lit up.
" Absolutely. Imagine if that happened? " he beamed. It looked kind of funny, this short kid with big gleaming yellow eyes, a huge smile from ear to ear plastered on his face, his nose ring catching the light peaking through the clouds, and his cigaret resting on top his lip ring.
" Oh, here," he handed me a small flyer and sticker. At the top of the paper there was a political cartoon of a Business man dragging women, men, and children in chains.
" Wait I though there isn't any slavery anymore?" I asked him. He was no longer smiling his face was strong, his eyes cold.
" in America not in third world countries . Business men take advantage of this. The same third world countries that don't have a stable Economy or leadership. Also these countries have oil. Oil disgusting businessmen want. And these guys Manipulate the laws by supporting politics so that they can avoid taxes and keep doing this. Filthy!"
He had a small jersey Accent. He talked with his hands pointing at the flyer and yelling. I just nodded. It wasn't right.
" I'm leading a protest on Sunday at the White House. Peaceful of corse. not sinking to there level. Posters and chanting, mostly," he said again. i am Definitely coming, mostly to see this guy again but I agreed with him .
" got to go. I hope to see you there. I'm frank," he stuck out his hand I shook it . I started to walk away putting out my cigarette.
" wait! I didn't catch your name!" Frank called.
" Gerard. Gerard way." I yelled behind me.

Hope you guys like it. Spelling and grammar is bad. Originally there was a chapter before this but is was really boring, just gee getting lectured by the ' suit guy' and his mom so I cut it. I hope you like it!
