Star-crossed lovers.

Chapter five

Frank was quick to wake up the next morning, his room mate almost throwing another shoe at him for the loud noises coming from the boy. He was quick to throw a Frankenstein shirt over his head and hop back into a pair of gray skinny jeans with black stitches. Almost falling over from the poor balance the boy had.

He shrugged at his mistake before throwing some Vans over his feet and slipping a minty tooth brush in his mouth. Continuing with his morning routine before running out the door. For today Frank was going to meet up with Billie before school. If they got there an hour before classes even started they could talk to teachers and get help.

The two had a plan of getting "help" from Mr. Way. Nothing about art, but just dying to know what was with his obsession with death.

"Frank!" The smaller boy caught the bigger teenager across the street.

Frank waved back at him, quickly beginning to run over his way.

"You're actually up." Billie joked.

Frank just snorted, "Yeah, surprising right?" He shot back in a sarcastic tone.

"Nah, no one's ever up for zero hour, I'm surprised the teachers make it." Billie joked. Frank laughed a long with them, the two began to stay silent as the crossed the road.

Once on the other side Frank catches a glimpse of Billie's shirt, now able to make out the band printed on the fabric.

"You like Good Charlotte?" Frank tilted his head as he tried reading the letters.

"Yeah dude, they're awesome." Billie smiled.

"Sum forty-one's better." Frank waved his tongue in the warm air.

Billie chuckled at his friend. "Keep talking."

"How far is school again?" Frank complained.

"Just around the corner over there." Billie pointed across the street where you could just barley see the tip of the flag pole.

Frank's sprit lifted a few inches once he found out he had to walk just a little farther. He sure was tired after that little 3 block walk. He joked to himself.

It wasn't long till the boys got into school, finding a few jocks and cheer leaders in the halls.

"C'mon." Billie nudged Frank towards the left, away from the group as he caught a few snickers and nasty looks.

"What was that for?" Frank questioned.

"Nothing, let's just go over by Mr. Way." Billie insisted, continuing to shove the tiny tattooed boy down the hall. Only half aware of what's going on.

"Oh, nice to see you boys." Mr. Way greeted, standing up from behind his desk.

Frank's eyes were still glued on the death mural on the wall, not getting with the program until Billie drives his elbow into Frank's gut.

"Oh. Mr. Way." He gasped as he tried catching his breath. "Me and Billie just wanted to see if we could ask you something." Frank muttered.

"Sorry, I couldn't hear you." Mr. Way apologized as he began moving some of his black hair behind his ear. In hopes he could hear his student a little better.

"I-I said we wanted to see if we could ask you something." Frank repeated himself with a short stutter.

"Go for it." Gerard smiled, sitting himself on top of his metal desk. The two boys standing in their place in front of the doors.

"The wall.. why did you paint.. that?" Frank spat out nervously.

"Hm." Mr. Way hummed. "I thought I told the class that I'd tell them about my art once they've earned it." He rose his eyebrow at Frank.

Frank's face began to blush.

"Well, we got here early. Shouldn't that be enough?" Billie jumped in.

Mr. Way frowned.

"That won't cut it my friend. Art is special and should be treated like it. We should honor it, are you following me Mr. Armstrong?" He kept his feline eyes on the taller boy.

Billie nodded.

"Good." Mr. Way smiled. "Now, since you boys are here early. Would you like to help me set some stuff around?" He suggested.

Frank nodded, "Sure-.' he started until a familiar person cut him off.

"I gotta go see Mr. Toro for band. So I can't." Billie made up a poor excuse.

Once again, Mr. Way frowned. "Oh, well Mr. Iero you're willing to help me right? I'm getting a little too old for this." He winked.

The action caused Frank to jump a few inches, surprised to find his art teacher winking at him.

Frank, he was just telling a joke. Stop thinking like that. He thought to himself.

"Ye-yeah." He stammered, Mr. Way nodding at him.

"Here." Mr. Way picked up a stack of folders in his hands. "Start putting those sheets in these folders." He ordered, walking over to Frank with the load in his hands.

"Alright." Frank shrugged, putting his hands out. Waiting to feel the paper texture of the manilla folders but instead is greeted with the warmth of soft skin.

His face soon blushed as he looked up, Finding Mr. Way smiling in front of him.

HIs blush grew to his color bones as his teacher rubbed his hands against his as he pulled away, smirking.

Frank couldn't think of anything to do but just stand there, and that's what he did. Red face and silent he stood there.

Mr. Way laughed at him, "Frank, you okay?" He smirked once more.

"Ye-yeah." Frank swallowed the lump in his throat that held him back from saying anything earlier.

"Then go on." The teacher smiled.

"Alright, Mr-Mr. Way." Frank turned his head over to the table.

"Please, call me Gerard."
