So Long and Goodnight

Ridley's POV

No no no...
I hear him knock again. It's clear he can't see us.
I can hear Zepplin's voice in the Bluetooth. "Shxt."
Mr Holmon can't see us, that's obvious. Lily and I are under the desk before we hear him twist the knob on the door and open it. The silence is painful to hear, as our fake situation dawns on him. He runs over to Miss W and screams. I close my eyes, hoping he doesn't see us. He presses his hands on the wound, trying to stop the bleeding. I feel like I'm going to scream, I open my mouth, but before I can let out a squeak, Lily's hand is clasped around my mouth. She shakes her head at me, with a dangerous glare.
Mr Holmon approaches us. I want to scream, but I don't let out a sound. Lily slowly takes her hand away from my mouth and watches, her eyes widening with every step he takes. She couldn't scream even if she wanted to. I know he wouldn't casually look under her desk, but he walks over and sits on the chair, pulling it in, we both slide onto the sides, so he won't kick us and end up finding out.
One chair legs scrapes on top of Lily's hand and she presses her other hand against the wall in pain, she bites her lip hard, and Mr Holmon looks at his chair oddly and pulls it back, thinking it's just a nick in the carpet. Lily takes her hand back and rubs it, to try and relieve the pain, shutting her eyes. Mr Holmon opens the laptop and begins typing rapidly. "I can't believe it...I can't believe it."
I hear whispering from my Bluetooth. "Lily, take off your Bluetooth." she takes off her Bluetooth without hesitation. "Now, Ridley, do you see a little dark red button on the top of it? Press that."
I see the button and I press it, it only clicks quietly.
"Now, leave it under the desk and GET OUT OF THERE."
We wait for Mr Holmon to leave for a bathroom break, and then we sneak out of the door, waiting for the signal from Zepplin. We run as quietly and as fast as we can, back to room 25. We run in the door and shut it behind us, panting and sliding down onto the floor against it.
"Why did you want us to press that button?" I ask, breathily.
"That was the recording button. It will pick up anything said in a room wide radius. If you'll give me your headset," I hand the Bluetooth to him. "And I just connect it to my computer..." I watch as he connects them using a USB cable. "We can hear everything that's coming from it."
We listen, but we don't hear much but typing. Max looks over at Lily. "Guys?" he says to us. "I think something's wrong with Lily."
She's still in the corner, she looks like she's in pain. She's clutching her hand. It's bruised and cut. The chair leg must've really hurt.
He walks over to her. "Lily?" she doesn't sign to him.
"Which hand is your sign language hand?"
She pulls up her bruised hand and ends up signing to him weakly. 'This one.'
He gently takes her hand in his and examines it. She flinches., and pulls away.
"Shxt." he says.
'What?' she signs. It's easy to see every words she signs out is shear pain.
"Lily, I think your hand's broken."
