So Long and Goodnight

Gerard POV

Uhm. I straighten my tie. "...Come again?"
And she signs the same thing she just did. For a second, I don't believe her, like she's trying to impress. But she doesn't seem ashamed to say it. She's not telling the truth. And I've come across death many times before, I know the expression of a killer. And there's no way someone could just imitate it.
"Um...alright. I...I'm not sure if we can use that."
Her face falls a little, like she was hoping to get a little blood on her hands. Don't get me wrong, I want this man to suffer, but no one deserves to die.
So I guess the first assignment is giving everyone a task. "Alight." I confidently stride out in front of the desks from behind my desk. I go in order, telling each kid what there task'll be.
"Katie-you'll be Mr H's distraction. Our insurance. In case something goes wrong with any timing, and he ends up about to find out about anything, you'll be one to distract him from what we're doing. Next, Lily-You'll be in charge of any...any...you'll be designing the main revenge scheme. Now remember, that's important." she nods. "Max. Max, Max, Max, Max, Max... Once this is all over, we're gonna have to confess to the police, and you're job is to make everything as legal as possible. Now Ridley, you'll work with Lily. You will be doing any building for the traps and setting up any...devices she designs with you. And Zepplin. You'll be making all the holograms, gadgets, and any other...computer job thingys." He nods, too. Understanding exactly what I mean.
"As for me, I'll be team leader. Now I expect-"
"Gerard?" says Max, interrupting me.
"Yeah?"
"I think we have a problem..." I follow his gaze and see the one and only Miss Wynman watching in through the window, and it's clear, that she heard every word.
