So Long and Goodnight

Gerard’s POV
So in the end, we went to Ridley’s funeral to say our last goodbyes. But before that, some uncommon romances occurred.
Katie ended up with Zepplin in the happiest relationship I’ve seen in ages. He helps her through her moments of anxiety, and he makes sure she’s always okay when she’s with her cocaine loving parents.
Same with Katie, she helps Zepplin through all the trauma caused by Ridley’s death in front of his eyes. He might go a little crazy every once and a while, but she gives him a hug and he stops focusing on the past and starts realizing the present.
Lily ended up with Max, as unlikely as it sounds. And even though she doesn’t talk much to us, she goes on for hours with Max. So I guess he triggers something in her that helps. I don’t know how they started going out in the first place, but whoever made the act of confidence was definitely someone to look up to.
As for Mr Holmon, well he’s dead, of course, but it was also proved what he was doing. What I used to think of as “robots” actually joined up and showed their marks made by Mr H, telling the authorities everything he did.
Our little group was given a name, DFHU (Don’t fxcking hurt us), and has become pretty well known. We’re known for what we did, but thanks to Max, we couldn’t be pressed charges. Guess he did what his job was told to be early on, but we were oblivious to it.
As for me, well, I’m just happy to be alive right now. There was honestly a time in DFHU for me where I thought about ending it all. That maybe, I take my life, I would be able to escape from the swirl of madness we entwined ourselves into.
But then I realized that I couldn’t leave the kids with that sick bastard, and we decided to finish what we started. And what can I say?
Mission Accomplished…
