So Long and Goodnight
Dim The Lights
Zepplin's POV
We're all awake, now. What the hell did he mean by "it happened again"?
We keep listening in on the phone conversation, and everything comes into place. But, we can only hear Mr Holmon's voice. We can't hear the recipient's.
"Yes, again.
Yes, yes I know this happened last year, as well. There have been new outcasts this year, and I'm afraid I have no way to dispose of them.
What? I guess that makes sense. I could look at their medical records. Why didn't I think of that?"
Everyone is still. Everything is silent except for the voice from the recording. I hear him sit down, and there's a little shuffle on the chair, and the recording cuts off, leaving eerie static.
"Ok, guys. Um...we need to be a lot more careful. Do not eat or drink anything from here, from now on. We don't know what this man is capable of."
Katie looks down. "Does this mean that there have been people like us before?"
Lily sighs 'Of course it does, dipshxt.'
I sigh. Why does she have to be such a bxtch to Katie?
"No." says Max. "We have to keep calm."
"How?!" says Ridley. "We know that there's this creepy man that's gonna try and kill us!"
"New rule. Everyone come into this room after school until we're sure Mr Holmon's car is GONE." Gerard says. There's a freaky tone to his voice. Like everyone will suspiciously die if they don't obey.
We nod at his new rule, anyways, he just wants us to still be alive tomorrow morning. "Now." he says. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired as hell. How about I drop you all of at your houses, now?"
We nod again. We're all tired, we're all drowsy, whatever you wanna call it. And before we know it, we're in his car, being dropped off one by one at our houses, without a word. And the whole way there, I'm thinking about who I can trust. Not Gerard, he's trustworthy, but each and every one of theses other outcasts...
