The Only Hope For You Is Me

*Gerard’s POV*
I had done it! I had kissed him and he had kissed back! I was so excited and happy. Frank’s cheeks were slightly blushed and he looked at me with his eyes wide open. I took his hand and pulled him back into the hall. We needed to be there and eat breakfast, so that the crew wouldn’t come looking for us. We grabbed our food and sat down at a table with six people already sitting at it. There were members of the crew standing at the doors, watching us. Frank sat across from me and ate his food, staring down at his plate. I smirked. His shy side hadn’t all gone away. I couldn’t help but look at him all the time. His face seemed like the one of an angel to me. Everything about it was perfect and his hazel eyes were so stunning. I touched his knees with mine, which made him look up. I smiled at him widely and he smiled back. Overcoming his shyness, he also started glancing at me.
The forenoon was rather uneventful. Frank hugged me after breakfast and both of us went to “work”. My team just continued what we had been doing before. Sadly we weren’t able to discuss the events, because there were two crew people watching us.
I wasn’t able to have lunch with Frank, because I was at a water treatment plant. We had a pick nick and were promised that we would be done earlier, since our break wasn’t as long as planned. When we were back, I took one of Frank’s books and read it, lying on my bed. It was a horror story.
Frank entered the room and sat down next to me.
“Do you like the story?”
“Yeah, I love it.” I grinned at him. “I love spooky stuff.”
“Me too.”, Frank replied.
I put the book back on Frank’s bed and sat down next to him. We discussed horror books and movies. Other men entered the room. Frank and I decided to go to have dinner. He stopped me on the way to the hall.
“Okay, we haven’t discussed it yet, but are we like a thing now?”
I chuckled. He was so adorable. “Well, if you wish, I’m gonna do this properly: Will you be my boyfriend?”
“Yes, I will!” Frank smiled at me. I was so glad. He was mine now! And I was going to protect him from anything!
We hugged tightly and I snuck a peck on his lips. Then we walked to the dining hall.
