The Only Hope For You Is Me

*Frank’s POV*
I intertwined my fingers with Gerard’s, searching for support. I felt extremely nervous. Gerard blushed. Oh, he took it that way, well that wasn’t bad either.
We arrived at the assembly hall, me basically clutching Gerard’s arm. We sat down on the ground.
The whole thing didn’t take too long. It seemed like Polanco had figured out a very detailed plan how to run the base.
Some people were made to be servants and to ‘take care’ of Polanco and the crew. This and the fact that Polanco wanted more progress were the reasons why everybody had to work ten hours a day, which was a lot more than before. But Gerard and I didn’t get away that bad; at least we got to keep our former tasks.
There was a plan how the days were going to be:
Breakfast: 7:00am
Work: 8:00am – 1:00pm
Lunch: 1:30pm
Work: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
Dinner: 8:30pm
Time to be in the room: 10:00pm

Also there were many rules about where we could go and when; at some point there was going to be a uniform for everybody and so on.
When Polanco was finally done talking, we were told to go and eat breakfast, which had been prepared by the kitchen team before the meeting. But Gerard pulled me to the bathroom close to our dining hall. He softly took my face in his hands. He looked into my eyes for 10 seconds straight, which made all my blood rush into my face. Then he leaned in and kissed me very softly. Gerard smelled like vanilla, his lips were soft. I kissed back, placing my hands on his hips, pushing him backwards a little. He put arms on my hips, too and bit my lower lip gently. I opened my mouth slightly. His tongue traced over my lip and then met my tongue.
Gerard was the one to pull away. He smiled at me like an idiot.

I hope that the kissing scene is not too bad, it was pretty hard for me to write it.
