**Meri's POV**

I sit on the couch in the Ways house, a hot mug of coffee in my hands. Jason sits to my left and Gerard sits to my right. Ray, Frank, Mikey and Nita all went to pick up our Chinese food from the shitty restaurant that doesn't deliver. We are all ridiculously bored at this point, and Gerard suggests that we play Truth or Dare.
"Jason, truth or dare?" asks Gerard.
"Truth."
"Have you ever wanted to kiss Meri?" That's quite a question, Gee.
"Um... maybe, like, a couple times? I dunno." Jason says nervously. Well that was not the answer I was expecting.
"Right then. Meri, truth or dare?" Jason asks awkwardly. God, he's such a cutie.
"Uh... dare?" I say.
"I dare you to... eat a handful of coffee powder."
"Bring it on."

That was unpleasant. Coffee powder is very not nice.
"Jase, truth or dare?" I ask.
"Dare!"
"I dare you to make out with Gee."
"What the fuck? No!" Jason says, laughing.
"Aw, come here, Jase!" Gerard says.
Then they made out for so long it wasn't even funny. But then it was really fucking funny.

"Jesus fucking christ, guys!" I laugh.
"Never again." I hear Jason stutter between laughs.

The others return with our Chinese food, laughing at something stupid that Frank had said.
"Hey guys, what did you get up to while we were out?" Nita asks, smiling.
I look at Jason and Gee and we all burst into laughter.
"Fine then, don't answer me." Nita says. "Come get your fucking food." Mikey wraps his arms around Nita's waist and kisses her on top of the head. God, they're so adorable.
"Is it anime time?" Gerard asks.
"FUCK YEAH IT IS!" Mikey yells.
We sit down with our food and we watch a few episodes of Death Note, which was really fucking awesome.

"Ah, fuck, we've got school!" I hear Nita shout. I open my eyes and see that it is now the morning, and that I had fallen asleep on the Ways coffee table. How did that even happen.
"We can just ditch and go do something interesting." says Frank.
"Frank, we can't ditch all the time." Nita says.
"Yeah, we can."
Nita laughs. "And you wonder why you're failing math."

Mikey passes us all cups of coffee.
"Can I come to school with you today?" I ask Nita.
"Uh... why?"
"I want to see what American schools are like."
"Oh. Well... if you want to, I guess."

I run to the bathroom and quickly apply a thick layer of eyeliner, then Nita does the same. Once we are all dressed and ready to go, we climb into Frank's truck and head over to what Nita sometimes refers to as "Hell High School".
Bring it on.
