Like Ghosts In The Sun

**Anita's POV**

It's been a week since I woke up in hospital. The doctors are letting me go home today. Mikey, Gerard, Ray and Frank all skipped a week of school so that they could stay with me. They're so amazing.
I hear a knock on my door.
"Come in!" I say as I put some more of my belongings in my backpack. It's Mikey. "Hey!" I say. He pulls me into a tight hug and kisses me gently.
"How have you been?" he says.
"Alright, I had a bit of a headache earlier but I'm okay now."
He smiles. "Glad you're feeling better. Oh, also there was a guy and a girl who wanted to see you before. I think they're from England."
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah, the girl asked me if I'd seen you. I told her I'd let you know they were outside." he says.
"Right, okay. Let's go find out who they are, then." I pull on his hand and I drag him out into the waiting room, where a girl with lilac hair and a guy with a bright blue, spiked-up mess of hair were sitting patiently.
"NITA!" screams the girl. She runs over to me and hugs me violently. The guy jumps on me and hugs me too.
"Oh my god, hey! What are you guys doing here?" I ask. Standing before me is Meri and Jason, my British best friends.
"We heard you were in hospital! We came as quickly as we could!" Jason says, grinning.
"Aw, thanks guys!" I say, laughing.
"Who's the cutie?" Meri says, pointing at Mikey.
"This is Mikey." I say.
"Hey." says Mikey, smiling.
"IS HE YOUR BOOOOOOYFRIEND?" shouts Jason excitedly.
"For fuck's sake, Jase, I get enough of this already. And yes. He is." I say.
"OH MY GOD YOU GUYS ARE SO ADORABLE!" Meri yells. Mikey and I look at each other and grin.
"Yeah, we've heard." Mikey says, giggling. Gerard walks over to us.
"I brought coffee!" he says.
"Ugh, finally. I need to get a faster slave!" I say before chugging the coffee. Meri looks at Gee.
"Damn, there's another one. Nita, how'd you get to be friends with such gorgeous humans?" she says. Gee flips his hair.
"I know, I'm beautiful." he says in a girly tone. Meri laughs.
"No, Meri, you're supposed to date Jason!" I say.
"What? Why?" she says.
"Because you guys would be so cute together!" I yell. Mikey and Gee nod in agreement.
"Oh, fuck off." Jason says, laughing.
"Actually... now that I think about it... sorry, what?" Meri says, dazed. We all laugh. I hear a loud crash from down the hall. The fuck was that?
At that very moment, Frank and Ray burst through the door, Frank surfing on a gurney with Ray pushing him. Oh my god. I pull my phone out of my pocket and film them. Gerard, Mikey, Meri and Jason are laughing hysterically on the floor.
"FRANK, FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" I yell, laughing.
"MIKEY, I TOLD YOU I COULD SURF, YOU OWE ME FIFTY BUCKS YA LITTLE BITCH!" Frank yells.
"What the hell is going on here?" a nurse shouts. "Get down from there immediately, young man!"

*2 hours later*

Frank and Ray got us all kicked out of the hospital, so now we're FINALLY getting some Thai food.
"That nurse was a total bitch." Frank says.
"We know, Frank. You've said that like nine times already." laughs Jason.
"Don't rain on my parade." Frank sulks.
We get our Thai food, which is really fucking delicious. We chat while we eat, listening to the songs they play on the radio around us. Most of them are pretty shit. Suddenly, we all stop. We hear the intro to a song. A good one. What happens next is the most awkward and loud sing-along to Blink-182's "What's My Age Again?".

We got kicked out of the Thai restaurant too.
