Living in the Light

I have been crying my eyes out for about 3 hours straight for Gerard. What can I say my mate has been gone for 3 hours, Im going to make a big deal over it. Thank god Mikey is comfortable to cry on. We have been searching and asking everyone we knew. And now were back at the house on couch with me crying and Mikey trying to soothe my pain. Like my emotions have been of the chart, im not even sure if these are my emotions anymore. One minute Im determined the next Im angry than I get all heartbroken than Im happy. Like what the fuck is wrong with me?

“Do you feel Gerard emotions?”

“I dont know....maybe.”

“Well...at least we know hes alive still than.”

I shot up quickly off his lap and stared at him for a second. Just shrugging me off and getting up. Leaving me with red puffy eyes and tissues everywhere. I just wish Gee was back than we could go down to the pizza shop...we..went..to with my...

“LAWRENCE!” I said standing up. Thank god I remembered him. He might know where my Gee is.

I must have scared Mikey hearing that he dropped his glass cup on the floor. “Who?”

“My father. He said that he has been in that jail place before...When the council found out about...me.”

Shit! Did Gerard ever tell them that he turned me? That might be why hes there!

“Your right Frank. Get your stuff, call your dad and tell him to meet us at the pizza place.”

I did as I was told. Reaching for my phone on the table when all of a sudden there was a knock at the door. I wonder who that is? Maybe its Bob asking for Gerard. I grabbed my phone about to dial the number when I opened the door to find my dad standing right there.

“How the fu-”

“I know when your in trouble. And I knew you needed me right now, so I came.” He was kinda out of breathe. Wiping the sweat off his forehead. I turned to Mikey who was already looking at me with the strangest expression on his face. I shrugged and let him in.

We all sat on the couch. “Gerard is missing. We need you to help us.” I couldnt explain it any better than that. My dad sat in thought for a moment rubbing his hand over his chin a few times before looking at me and Mikey again.

“Where was the last you saw him? And tell me every little detail.”

I took a breathe before gathering my words and started. “It was around 11 and we decided to just take a drive down the plaza area. We were in his car looking around when he took me to this store that looked deserted at first and the parking lot was empty. He told me it was a surprise and we walked into the place. It was kinda old with dust everywhere and he turned the lights on. This guy which I assume is his friend named Andy called us to come to the door at the back. Gerard was talking to him about eights and I think twenty three's. I have no idea what that is.” I paused to take a breathe. Flickering my eyes back and forth between Mikey and my dad. “We walked back out of the store and I was feeling uneasy. Than we got into the car again and Gerard tried to calm me down a bit than as he started the car I heard a very high pitched noise and it started to hurt my ears. So I closed my eyes and the last thing I saw was this thing on the window staring at me screaming with her bright eyes. She looked like some mutated creature, dead looking with greyish long hair. And Gerard kept looking at me than back at the lady scared to death. Than when it finally stopped he was gone when I opened them. Thats when I called Mikey after I tried searching for him.”

We were silent as I let my dad think. After about a minute he spoke. “It was a banshee. Not any banshee comes after someone. That banshee had to be your mother.”

“H-How? How could...that thing..b-be my m-mother? Why would she...even come for Gerard....and not me?”

“Did Gerard say he was going to tell the council about you?” I nodded my head no. Because he didn’t.

“Thats probably why. And he is probably at a holding right now. We need to get him out of there.”

After that we were outside in the burning sun. I know vampires dont fucking sparkle but with my pale skin wearing black and dark red it sure as hell seemed like I was. Mikey shut the door behind us and handing me a pair of aviator sunglasses. I took them putting them on. Mikey led the way to their giant garage in the back to go get a car. With my dad driving to get us there faster and me in the front seat Mikey in the back.

10 minutes later we were at some place deep in the mountains. I looked around out the window seeing some very interesting looking creatures walking through the fog we were caught in. I looked ahead to see we were about to go down hill into a deep valley where there was a big old looking castle.

This must be the place of no return. Deadly haunting the supernaturals in their sleep. A council that can kill anyone that doesnt follow the laws. The hell of all places to be.

I really really hope that they save and find Gerard before its to late. Like what if the council actually kills him in front of Frank?! *GASP*! Than Frank would be without a mate for the rest of his life! *GASP! I need to stop gasping.
