***Frank's pov***

“FRANK!” Gerard woke me up from my thoughts. “What?” I said annoyed. “I was telling you about that new comic I bought..” “Sorry I wasn't paying attention, Gee.” I answered. “Nobody ever listens to me..” Gerard said with a sad voice. “Drama queen.” “Bitch.” He said, using a sassy voice. I sighed. Gerard has been here for a couple hours now, we're having our first band practice today as soon as Mike and Ray get here.

About 15 minutes later, the bell rang. Gerard went to get the door and I followed him. He opened the door to see Mikey and Ray. I walked towards Gerard and stood behind him putting one arm around his waste. “Well now the double date can begin right?” I asked. Gerard pushed me off and Mikey and Ray walked into the house with their bass and guitar. “So where will we play?” Ray asked. “My mom said we can play in the basement, she said we could use it whenever we want to.” “Awesome.”

I got 4 beers out of the fridge and we walked down to the basement. We sat down for a while, catching up a little. “Oh by the way, I heard about you and Michelle, congrats Frank” Mikey said. “Thanks Mikes.” I answered. Ray looked a little confused so Gerard explained everything. “That sounds more like something you would do, Gee. I never would've thought that you were the Romantic type, Frank.” Ray said. “Oh I knew.” Gerard joked, winking at me. I rolled my eyes. Mikey laughed. “Yeah Frank, where's your rebellious punk image now huh?” He said. “Don't judge a guy by his lip piercing..” I muttered. Ray stood up to plug in his guitar. “Come on, let's start!” He said.

Half an hour later we were playing Helena, the song Gerard wrote a while ago. I was strumming the chords while running around the basement. I had to make sure that I was near my microphone when I had to sing the backing vocals though. I looked over at Mikey and then at Ray who were both playing really well. “And what's the worst to take, from every heart you- ouch Frank!” Oops, I had accidentally run into Gerard with my guitar. He continued singing so I just went on jumping around. I noticed that Gerard's voice sounded great today. When the song was done we put our instruments down and looked at each other. The other songs we had played sounded good, but this had just been... it was really great. Maybe it's because it's our own song.

We all sat down. “Yeah that sounded rad guys!” I said enthusiastic. We looked at each other and I think we all thought the same. Gerard put our thoughts into words by saying: “Guys.. I think that this really can turn out to become something good, I just feel it.” “Yeah, we just need more songs.” Ray said. “And a drummer.” I added. Gerard smiled. “We can fix both those problems. Me and Mikey know a guy that could join us maybe, he's really good.” He said. “Are you talking about Matt?” Mikey asked. Gerard nodded. “And about the songs, I'm currently working on some songs.. but it's a bit more aggressive than Helena though.. I'm not sure if you'll like it..” “Well then let us hear some of it?” I asked him. Gerard looked a little bit uncomfortable but then he sighed and stood up.

“Well okay then, I kinda like this thing I wrote. I don't have much yet, but well.. yeah...it's about vampires” Gerard said. He grabbed my guitar and started playing and singing. He was right, the music was more aggressive than Helena but I actually was kinda into that, and according on Ray and Mikey's faces, they liked it too.

“Dude that was awesome!” I said patting Gerard on the back. “Well it's only a verse, I don't really know how to go on with it..I have written a lot of things but they are all just short pieces, I still have to work it all out.” He answered. “But you don't have to do it on your own of course” Rays said and Gerard nodded.

“Guys. I just thought up a name for the band.” Mikey suddenly said. “What is it?” I asked. “Well you guys know that I work at a bookstore, and I was just struck by this booktitle 'Ectasy: Three tales of Chemical Romance' So I was thinking of calling the band 'My Chemical Romance'?” We thought about that for a while. “I like it!” Ray said after a while. Gerard and I agreed. It was all getting to look like something now..”

We stayed in the basement, jamming for about an hour, until we all got up and the guys went home. After they had left I crashed on the couch, putting on the TV. I was the only one in the house now, because my mom had stayed the night at my aunt and Michelle went to hang out with that stupid Billie Joe. She said that she just had to talk things out with him. I didn't want to look jealous or something, especially not since 2 days ago we weren't even together yet. But she probably knew what I was thinking because before she left she said that I didn't have to worry and then kissed me.

Yesterday was pretty amazing, at first it was quite awkward. Because Michelle and I were home alone, and normally that wouldn't have been a big deal at all, but now it suddenly kinda was. But that awkwardness disappeared very quickly, after a while it was as if we had been together for a long time and everything just came very natural. The only thing that I didn't like about yesterday was that at night, I heard that Michelle was having nightmares again. This time it looked a lot worse than when she was having nightmares before. I think it has a lot to do with what that dickhead, Jason, did, or tried to do to her. It just made me so mad seeing her in pain like that. We really have to go to the police soon, to make sure that it will never happen again. I would much rather just kick his ass, but I also know that that probably won't make things better. And I have to admit that that guy's probably stronger than me, and definitely a lot taller.


***Michelle's pov***

Me and Billie Joe were in a park, close to the record store where he works. I had helped him at his work, I wanted to because I just love that record store. And it's also a lot of fun with Billie. When his shift was over we had walked to this park. I had told him about Frank and me because it just kinda seemed fair to tell him in stead of letting him find out at school or something.

“Oh so you guys are now seriously 'together'?” Billie asked. I nodded. “That kinda sucks. Well I shouldn't say that of course, I'm happy for you.. but I guess you already kinda figured that I kinda have a crush on you..” He said. I stayed silent for a while. “We can still be friends right?” He chuckled. “Of course, I'm not thát in love with you yet, I'll survive. It's not like you're irresistible or something, geez” he said joking.

“So, what's so great about him?” Billie asked. I blushed. “I don't know..” Ï muttered. “Of course you do.” “I don't know how to explain it, really.” “Is it his looks? Because I know you totally have been checking me out on school since your first week on school so I know you like this too baby.” He said, pointing at his face. “Shut up, you're an idiot. No it's not that. Well obviously that too. But Frank has just always been there when I needed him. He can always put a smile on my face but when I'm just having a rough time he just knows exactly what to do. And it's also just this feeling that he gives me, I can't really explain that, but he's the only one that gives me it.” Billie thought a while about that. “Well shit, now I wanna date him too.” He said. I laughed. “I don't think he'll be that interested in you after you lied about the valentine's day thing..” “Oh right.”

I looked at my watch and saw that Frank's band practice with the guys had ended about half an hour ago. He's probably all alone at home now. “I think I'm gonna go home now, Billie.” I said, standing up. Billie stood up too. “Okay, I'll go home too then.” I said goodbye and then started walking home.

Notes

So, I feel like I kinda have to apologize for not having updated for so long. I had exam week, I have that 3 weeks a year. It's pretty horrible, because you don't have any classes or homework or something, but you just have 2 or 3 big tests everyday, and you pretty much have to study the whole day if you want to be able to do a little well on them. It's pretty stressful and it takes up a lot of your time. I don't know if you guys have those at school too, but I live in the Netherlands (fun fact) and well, here we do.

But, now I have holidays for a week, so I've got enough time to write more chapters now c:

I hope you like this chapter, mcr is finally born. :D I don't really know if the lengths of my chapters are okay by you guys.. Sometimes I feel like they're kinda short but I also don't want to put too much stuff in one chapter..

By the way, what did you guys think about 'Fake Your Death'? I really don't know how to feel about it, at first I was like "It's a really beautiful video wow" but then I felt like I wanted to cry my fucking eyes out. But I'm not really someone that cries quickly so that was pretty weird for me. OH and also, Mikey is in a new band and that also kinda confuses me because everything just kinda gives me mixed feelings idk...
