Struggling with more Ways than one

"Babe are you on the way to the hospital?" I ask frantically.
"Yeah, Kats, taking me." she breathes heavily.
Oh god I wish I could be there with her right now, oh so so much.
"Mike'ys on his way to the hospital too." I blurt out.
"What-"
"Gotta go, I'll meet you there, love you sugar." I dismiss my wife and grab frank by the arm, running to my car and quickly climbing inside. After I make sure frank is buckled in I floor it and take the long commute to the hospital.

"Cmon frank!" I yell from the lobby of the hospital. He runs as fast as he can, I feel bad because he's still a little emotional.
I get Fletcher's room number and sash there at lightning speed. I burst through the door and feel like im in the same situation after she was raped all over again. Shes hooked up to too many cords and she looks weak. Her swollen abdomen prominent under the bed sheets.
"Babe?" My voice cracks.
"Gee?, is that you?" She asks groggy from the medicine.
I nod with tears in my eyes. I climb in bed with her and stroke her stomach, I look up to her and smile warmly. She groans in pain when one of the babies kicks, I can't help but laugh because I felt it too.
"You'll be okay sugar, I wont let them hurt you." I squeeze her hand.
"I love you gee." She whispers.
"I cant remember when I haven't." I laugh.
She lightly punches my, I pout and act hurt.
"Oh stop it I'm the one giving birth here." She laughs.
I smile and kiss her nose.
A while later Fletcher's contractions get worse and she starts to go into labor. I stayed by her side the whole time, letting her crush my hand until I couldn't fee it anymore. As soon as I heard the wails of our newborn children I felt two things. Proud and scared.
I kiss Fletcher's tears off her face as she wipes off mine.
"They're beautiful." I mutter.
"Just like you." fletcher says.
"Welcome to the world Bandit." I smile.
"Welcome to the World Panik." Fletcher smiles.
