Struggling with more Ways than one

"Goodnight Fletcher." I say to her as I grab my things and turn off the light.
"Goodnight Gerard." Damn. Is it wrong to like that way she says my name? Nah. I head upstairs and take off my clothes, jump into the shower, and change into and iron maiden shirt and sweatpants. I sit in bed, unable to sleep so I try to say my name the way Fletcher does.
Gerard.
GErard.
GErArd.
Gerard.
Nope, can't do it, I guess this gives me more reasons to talk to her. I chuckle at myself and then her a thud from the next room, it's Mikey.
"Shut. Up."
"Make me." I say thudding back. Mikey thuds harder. I thud with all my might, then we have a hole.
"Shit! I exclaim." Mikey's just laying in bed guffawing. I glare at him even though it's not like he can see it.
"Just pull your desk in front of it dude." Mikey says.
I oblige and conceal the hole with my mahogany desk, I slide it gingerly to make sure the towers of sketches and paperwork don't fall off.
"There we go." I say as I put my hands on my hips.
"Night bro." Mikey says through the wall.
"Night."
I laugh because the people who sold me this house said one of the downsides was thin walls, without that Mikey and I couldn't be lazy and chat through them.

My alarm clock screeches at me and I fall out of bed in a failed attempt to turn it off. I push myself off the floor and quickly change into a rolling stones t-shirt and a green pullover jacket, as well as a pair of black jeans and black combat boots.
I walk into the kitchen surprised firsthand to see that coffee's already brewed and second to see that Mikey and Fletcher are up and chatting quietly.
"Mornin' bro." Mikey says handing me a cup of coffee.
"Morning Mr. Way, I mean Gerard." Fletcher blushes and puts her face behind her coffee cup.
"You'll get it eventually." I say ruffling her hair.
"Just like calculus." Mikey mumbles causing Fletcher to laugh. I cock my head confused, I guess it's an inside joke. I'm elated to see that Mikey's made a new friend, and same for Fletcher. It's sad to say but I can tell that she's an outcast, I hope I can be the one to make her feel included.
"C'mon guys." I say jingling the car keys. The two pause and look at me.
"We were gonna walk." Mikey informs me.
"Alright, don't skip." I say pointing at the two.
"Damn it Mikey, I can't believe you told him." Fletcher say rolling her eyes and crossing her arms.
"Dude I told you, I thought he'd want in on it too!" Mikey and fletch chuckle.
"Apparently he's a goody two shoes." She says smirking at me
"Today maybe, other days I can be totally bad ass." I whisper.
"Yea, like one time, he didn't stop for a stop sign!" Mikey says gasping Fletcher applauds. I bow.
"Thank you Thank you." We all laugh once more before heading outside. I lock up and head out to my car, waving to them as I pass by. Today is an odd day so That means all first periods turn into the last period, and yes I do agree this is weird also. I barley make it throughout the day even though I started my day off with her. She's in all my thoughts and every time I try to get my mind off her by drawing I draw her! I sigh and promise myself she will be here at the end of the day. The last period bell rings and all the students file in except for Fletcher. I instantly become anxious, I feel like a mother hoping her sons name on the KIA(Killed in action) list during a war, yeah it's that bad. I wait 5 more minutes, then 10, then 20 and by the time I go to call the office my fingernails are down to stubs I call the office and a bitchy voice picks up.
"Hello, this is the office."
"This is Mr. Way, and I'd like to report a missing student."
