Make way for Way

Never Coming Home, Never Coming Home.

Zipping down the stairs after Frank, I pause at the doorway to find him, Mikey, and Ray conversing at the front door.

"What were you guys doing up there?" Laughed Mikey, turning his head to Frank. I felt my face flush a dark, crimson red as Frank twisted his head back to me, as his eyes flickered from his bandmates, to me, and back, all while biting his soft, bright lips. Words cannot describe how sexy he looked, at that time.

"Gerard and I were just... Practicing lyrics!" Frank nodded back towards me, face flustered a bright shade of red. I could tell Mikey and Ray were buying it, thank God. We dodged a speeding bullet, there.

"Okay, that's cool. Want to get back to practice, now?" Ray questioned. Frank nodded, keeping his beautiful brown eyes on me.

"We can play a different song, if you like, Gerard," Frank blinked up at me. I nodded my head, a "yes", and let Frank go in front of me, out the door. Pulling back on the door nob, I ran after Mikey, Ray, and Frank, already 10 long steps ahead of me.

Once in the dirty garage, we took our positions and talked about which song we should play, next. Frank immediately put his guitar down, and answered, "How about Ghost Of You? That's an interesting one," Frank openly offered, shoving his hands down in his, surprisingly not-shallow, pockets.

We all seemed to agree on that one, so Frank immediately took out the lyrics from the top of a wooden bench. He had this planned?

He handed me the lyrics, as I began reading them, while the rest of the guys tuned their instruments.

"Ready, Gerard? Ray? Mikey?" Frank called, as we nodded our heads. I saw that there was more notes for drumming, on this one. We really did need a drummer, soon.

I heard a few seconds of sweet chords, every song we seemed to do sounded really meaningful, now. Except for this one, I didn't cry, which was strange, considering the story it was trying to converse.

I followed along with the notes, until my first set of lyrics showed up.

"I never, said I'd lie, and wait forever... If I died, we'd be together. I can't always just forget her. But she could try!" With every word I sang, I was getting deeper into the song, trying to translate the words with every metaphor. My Chemical Romance seemed to know how to do that kind of thing.

Getting into the chorus, I nervously began singing with more force.

"At the end of the world, or the last thing I see, you are never coming come, never coming home..." I sang, biting my lip out of nervousness. I didn't want to mess up in front of Frank, my voice usually cracks on notes like this one.

Thankfully, I was able to get through the entire set. It was an amazing song, I especially liked the sound to it. It was nice, slow, and very emphasizing.

I could get used to this.

I noticed the beautiful sunset in the distance, considering our garage door was open. That'd be amazing if I could sit down with Frank in the sunset and talk... I wanted to get to know him better. The only thing I know right now is his looks, and he looks georgeous. He was precious, and cute. Very cute. Not in a perverted, school-girl crush kind of way, but in a, "Look, a kitten!" way. Looks are what draw you in (that was accomplished already), personality is what makes you stay.

I noticed Frank glancing over at me. I didn't know I looked so lost in the sunset, so I guess Frank was just trying to get my attention.

"Gerard, you should go, it's getting dark out. Great singing, by the way. You were perfect!" He gushed. Did he just say perfect? Never in a million years would I think any aspect of myself would be perfect. No matter how rude it was at the time, I kind of chuckled when I heard him say perfect, going red in the face.

"Yeah... I think I can walk home, Frank," I told him, adding in a slight, "And I'm definitely not perfect," mutter under my breath.

"You sure? Heated van, Gerard. It's getting kind of chilly out," Ray added. I shook my head, just enough so they could see it, putting my microphone on its' stand.

"I'm good. Thanks for the offer!" I smiled sweetly at Mikey, Ray, and Frank.

"Alrighty, I had a fun time with you guys! Perfect instrumentals," I told them, truthfully. I didn't know it was possible to sound that good in a garage.

Mikey, Ray, and Frank crossed their arms and shook their heads, an approving, "Yes,".

"Bye, guys! See you, tomorrow, Frank!" I waved, moving off into the distant sunset.

Notes

so, hopefully this isn't too bad! I think I'm going to remove an upcoming, not important character soon. I need to focus on the main thing. So, advice? ^-^ Also, I saw that this got over 1,000 views today! thanks so much ^-^
