Love Will Overtake Us Both
Epilogue
~Alexa’s POV~
I loaded the last of my belongings into my car and ran back to hug my mom and dad. I turned 21 last week and am moving in with my husband – Andy Biersack who was my High School crush. We started dating in 10th grade and when we graduated, he proposed when he took me out to dinner that night. We married a few months later but haven’t been able to afford a place together until now.
“Be safe honey, we love you so much,” Dad said, kissing my forehead.
“I love you too dad and I’ll be safe, don’t worry,” I chuckled before turning to mom, who was wiping her eyes as fresh tears fell from them. “Don’t cry mom, because I’m starting to now,” I chocked and hugged her tightly as I started to cry.
“I love you so much baby girl. If you need anything, call us okay?” Mom said and I nodded, hugging her tighter. “Ray, Mikey, Gerard! Alex is going!” Mom shouted and my three uncles walked out of the house behind mom.
I let go of mom and she kissed my cheek, before going over to Uncle Gerard and hugged him tightly. “I’m gonna come to you if I ever need art work in my apartment,” I said and we both chuckled.
“Is that all I’m good for?” Gerard asked, faking shock and annoyance.
“No but you know what I mean Uncle Gee,” I said, letting him go and going over to Uncle Mikey and Uncle Ray and hugging the both of them tightly.
“I’m gonna miss you Uncle fro fro, and you Uncle Mikey… what am I gonna do without you guys?” I said, trying to hold back tears.
“Let it out Alex,” Uncle Ray said, rubbing my back soothingly and I just burst into tears in the couple’s arms.
After a long hug from them, it was time for me to go to my new apartment. “I love you guys so much!” I shouted at them.
“We love you too Alex!” They all shouted back in unison.
I waved once more before climbing into my car and driving away… this is going to be so hard… living without them but I can always move back if things don’t work out between Andy and I…
