Love Will Overtake Us Both

Leila's POV
We all proudly sat at our table in the front of the room. It was right next to the dancefloor, so we could see everyone enjoying themselves.
Frank and I were finally married and I couldn't be happier, but all I could think about was Alexa. I was just hoping the doctors were taking great care of her, so that we could take her home tomorrow.
My thoughts about the baby were interrupted when Frank placed his hand over mine. I looked over at him and smiled. He leaned forward and whispered 'Care to dance?' I nodded my head, and Frank led me to the dance floor with our hands still linked. He pulled me close to him as a slow song played. I nuzzled my face into the crook of his neck and smiled. This was everything I could ever hope for. I have the perfect husband, perfect friends, and a perfect daughter. What more could I possibly ask for in life? Maybe for Gerard to get over me and find someone else. Maybe I could set him up with my friend Lindsey, from high school. They seem like they would be a good match.
I smiled at the thought and looked up at Frank. He put his hand on my cheek and pressed his lips to mine. I heard a cheer from the guests as we kissed and I pulled away and giggled. He let out a small laugh too and we turned and looked at everyone. I looked over at Ray and Mikey as they sat down at the table. I let go of Frank's hand and ran over to them. I grabbed one of each of their hands and pulled them to the dance floor. We all started dancing and laughing, and then I looked over at Gerard and saw how lonely he looked. He was sitting at a table, playing with a flower as a little girl kept poking him. I rolled my eyes and went to the microphone by the DJ. 'Gerard, come on up here!' I said into it, and he looked up and smiled, then got up and walked over to the group. We all started dancing and I can honestly say that it was the most fun I've ever had in my entire life.
After our little dance party, Frank and I cut out cake. It was a beautiful three tier white cake with black and silver flowers. We each fed a piece to eachother, then the guests were served.

Time lapse to a few weeks later

Frank and I were finally going on our honeymoon and I couldn't be happier. Ray and Mikey had left for theirs the night of the wedding and they were finally back. Frank and I had waited because we didn't want to leave Alexa right away, but now that Mikey and Ray were back, they volunteered to watch her.
I smiled as I packed my last bag. I didn't really know what to pack, because Frank said that the honey moon was a surprise. I heard a knock at the door and I went to open it. ''Gerard." I said with a smile. He looked down at me and my eyes met his. "Leila." I moved to the side and let him in, and he sat on the edge of the bed. "So, are you excited for your date tonight?'' I asked him. I had contacted Lindsey. It turns out she's not the bass player to Mindless Self Indulgence. She was ecstatic to go on a date with Gerard. "Yeah, I am." He said with a smile. "Would you like help with your bags?" He asked and I nodded and thanked him. He stood up and grabbed two of my three bags, and I grabbed the last, then followed him down the stairs.
Frank was outside loading up the car. We brought my bags out to him and he put them in, then closed the trunk. "Well, that's everything." He said. We walked back into the house, and said goodbye to Ray and Mikey. I wished Gerard good luck on his date, then went to say bye to Alexa. She was asleep in her crib. I smiled down at her. "Mommy loves you." I said, then walked back out to the car. Frank said bye to Alexa, then he climbed into the driver's seat. "Ready for an adventure?" He asked me. I smiled and shrugged. "I guess so."

Hi, sorry my laptop was being weird so I wasn't able to get any emails so i couldn't get the first half of a chapter I needed to complete, but anyway Yay Leila and Frank are married! Freila!
