Love Will Overtake Us Both

LEILA's POV
I watched as Gerard stood up out of his chair and left. I looked at Mikey and he looked hurt that his brother would do that. I stood up out of my chair and followed him out. He was sitting on the curb smoking a cigarette. I sat down next to him and he glanced over at me, then looked back out at the street. "Why would you do that? You know how shitty Mikey must feel right now?" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders and blew out some smoke. I stood up in front of him and grabbed his cigarette. I threw it on the ground and stomped on it. "You are such an asshole, Gerard. You could at least pretend to be happy for everyone." He glared at me and stood up in front of me. "Why can't I just be happy, Leila? Hmm? Oh that's right, probably because my best friend just proposed to the girl I love. Maybe that has something to do with it. Or the fact that he knocked her up too? Yes.. That might be why I'm upset." He said then turned to leave. "Don't you dare make me feel like shit right now, Gerard. I love Frank and you just cant take it that I don't love you. The whole world doesn't fucking revolve around you!" He turned around and glared at me. "You know what... I'm not coming to your wedding!" He yelled. I slapped him so hard that he fell down. "Don't you dare do that. I don't fucking care if you do or don't come, but Frank does. You're his best friend and you're going to have to put on your big boy pants and get over it. Now get yourself the fuck up and go back in there. I don't care if you're upset, you are going to go in there and congratulate Ray and your brother. They deserve that much." I said then stomped back into the resteraunt. Frank looked at me and I sat down. "Are you okay?' He mouthed to me and I nodded and smiled at him. He smiled back then continued to eat his food.

A few minutes later, Gerard came back in. He had a red handprint across his right cheek. Frank looked at me and widened his eyes, then raised one eyebrow. I nodded at him and rolled my eyes and he giggled a little bit.

Gerard walked over to Ray and Mikey. "Congrats, guys! I'm super happy for you guys! I can't wait for the wedding!" He said, then walked back to his seat and sat down. He glared at me from across the table.
