Killing Them Softly- COMPLETED
Chapter Two
There are several rooms in this old house, each with a different letter to represent what was on the other side. Kay and I entered Room S, TV screens were set up all around. I searched for the one that showed James and Tabi sleeping.
"There they are, look at them sleep. Peaceful and happy, I want the boy first. Can we start already?" I looked over to see my sister, grinning from ear to ear. Her mind already racing with ideas on what she wanted to do tonight.
"Patience Kay, we have to gather our supplies." She nodded, we left Room S for Room T. This was our favorite room, this is where we kept our toys and supplies. "First we need to knock them out, get them to the basement."
Kay grabbed a couple of syringes and the tranquilizers. "Should we take down the one first?"
"Which one?"
"The unconscious one, duh."
"She's not going down there, she's my girl and my girl stays with me." Kay's face scrunged up in dislike. I grabbed her knife and handed it to her. "Is there a problem?"
She shook her head, "no problem big brother." I watched as Kay pressed the blade ever so lightly against her arm. She let out a soft moan of pleasure, a tiny spot of blood formed. "Let's do this."
We walked into the room James and Tabi were sleeping in. I went to his side and plunged the syringe into his neck. His eyes opened wide and before he could let out a scream I covered his mouth and released the tranquilizer into his system.
It took only seconds before his eyes began to close again. I nodded to Kay to do the same to Tabi. She whispered, "can I please play a game of hide and seek first?"
"All the windows and doors locked?" Kay nodded her head excitedly. "Alright go ahead." I found a rocking chair in the corner of the room and sat. Watched as my sister began her game.
---------------------------------------------------
Gee sat in the rocking chair and watched me. I couldn't fuck this up or he'd never allow me to play again. First I whispered, "Tabi.....Tabi.....Taaaabi....." She stirred ever so slightly. Now I shouted, "Tabi! Time to play!"
Her eyes widened, she stared at me horrified. "Kay? What's going on?" She searched the room, saw Gee just sitting. He smirked at her and waved, Tabi tried to wake James but poor James was going to be asleep for awhile.
"Come on Tabi, we're going to play a game. The loser gets punished."
Stuttering and crying she asked, "what ga-game?"
"It's called hide and go seek. The rules are simple you hide and I seek. If I find you, you lose. Now you have thirty seconds. One...two...three..."
She looked at Gee, I continued to count. "Please do something, what is going on."
"Eight...nine...ten..."
"I would start running and hiding if I were you little Tabi. You don't want her to find you."
"Fourteen...fifteen...sixteen..."
Tabi jumped out of the bed and started to run. I smiled at Gee and he smiled back. I held my knife tight, I continued to count. "Twenty-eight...twenty-nine...thirty! Ready or not here I come!"
I raced out of the room, searching every inch and every square of the area. "Oh Tabi, come out come out wherever you are." I started to giggle, when I get excited I can't help it. "I'm not going to hurt you, it'll only sting a bit."
It didn't take long to figure out where she hid. They always hide in the same spot, the closet. I knocked on the door three times, "little rabbit come play in the garden." I threw open the door and there she was cowering in the corner.
She screamed, "no!!" With one hand I grabbed her by the hair and dragged her out. She was smacking my hand trying to free herself. With a swift motion I flung her around. Tabi started to crawl away but I dragged her back, I watched as her nails drug against the wood leaving her fingertips bloody.
With my combat boots on I kicked her in the stomach. Now that she was still I flipped her over on her back. Her cheeks wet from tears, eyes bloodshot. "Please don't hurt me, please."
God I fucking hated when they pleaded. All of them broken records, I loved to hear them beg but pleading made me sick. I put my knife against her throat, "shut the fuck up already. You know how many times I hear the same shit."
I mimicked them, "oh please don't hurt me. I'll do whatever you want. Oh please. I'm tried of it, now shut up or I'll cut out your voice box."
She was shaking underneath me, but she remained silent. "Now I found you so you have to be punished." I took my knife and slowly moved it from her throat to her arm.
I began to cut little designs into her arm, she screamed. Music to my ears, I looked up at Gee who was watching closely. With my knife I carved a heart, a sun, and a smiley face. "Now you'll always have happy thoughts."
"Come on, lets get them downstairs." I stood up, my legs between Tabi. "I'll get James, you take her down." I flung her up by her shirt.
"Tabi, you'll love it down here. You'll make so many new friends." We walked slowly down the wooden steps, "don't fall now." She was crying softly, and it made me smile.
I pushed her to a cage, "this one is yours. Get in." She moved slowly, too slow for me. I gave her a kick and she fell forward into the cage. Just as I locked the door Gee was coming down with James on his shoulder.
"Open the door." I did as I was told, he placed him in. I crawled inside with him, placed my hand on his chest and felt it rise and fall again. "Get out Kay, now!" Her grabbed my arm an pulled me out, locking the door behind.
"What now?"
"Now we rest, we'll let these two get acquainted with the others." Gee started to walk back upstairs.
"What are you going to do? Want to play a board game with me?"
Gee turned back towards me, he gave me an evil glare. The one he gives when he's annoyed. "Grow up Kay, it's not always games." He continued to walk upstairs, leaving me alone in the dark basement.
