Killing Them Softly- COMPLETED

My hands had a death grip on the cup of coffee in front of me. I was at a local diner, there weren't that many people in here. The waitress had long brown hair, she looked young. She seemed to be the only one working tonight, I felt bad for her.

I wondered what my brother was doing, I mean I'm not stupid I knew he was at this moment having sex with Emily. He's wanted her since he first saw her, knocked out in the backseat of the car. She kept him waiting long enough, she wasn't easy I'll give her that. Gee used his charm on her everyday, flirting and loving.

It made me sick watching my brother act like this, it wasn't fair. I never get to keep someone for myself, although I never liked any of the boys we brought in. The only boy I've ever loved was my big brother, he took care of me and protected me.

He's the one who decided we needed to kill mother and father. It was for the best he reminded me, I knew I wanted daddy dearest dead but it was Gee who decided to also get rid of mother. I was too busy being off in my own little world to notice the waitress standing by me.

"Excuse me Miss?" I dropped the cup, spilling it on the table and turned my head towards her. Then back to the spilled cup of coffee. "Oh I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's okay, sorry about the mess."

"You looked lost in thought, hate to interrupt but it's about closing time." I looked around the diner was now empty except for me. I grabbed my money and placed it on the table.

"Guess I'll let you close then." She smiled sweetly at me, I walked out of there coming up with my plan. There were two cars out in the parking lot, one was mine meaning the other was hers. Using my knowledge on cars, I removed the distributor cap and waited.

I waited about thirty minutes when she finally came out. In my car I watched, she got in and tried to start the car with no success. It was too easy, I got out and knocked on her window. She got out, "having car problems?"

"Yes, I don't know what's wrong. It was running fine, wait why are you still here?" Shit, need to come up with something quick.

"When I came out I saw someone by your car, I thought it was his own car otherwise I would have stopped him. He must have done something to your car."

"Of course with my luck, shit, what am I suppose to do?"

"My brother can fix this, I can drive you to our house, it's no problem really." I watched her think over my offer, her mouth twitched a little.

"If you're sure, I would really appreciate it a lot." I walked her over to my car, opened the passenger door and closed it begin her. Then I got in, my plan already starting.

We drove in silence for the first few minutes, but she decided to break it by saying "my names Jade by the way."

"I'm Kaitlyn, everyone calls me Kay." Then for some reason the bitch decided she wanted to tell me her life story.

"Thanks again, my best friend was good at cars but he......he's been missing for awhile now."
My ears perked up at that word, missing. "Did you say he's missing?"

"Yes, are you not from around here? There's been several missing person cases, my best friend being one of them."

I had to hide the smile that was starting to appear, "what was your friend's name?"

"Ray, Ray Toro. You couldn't miss him with his hair, he had this big afro. I loved him, I never got to tell him but I hope there's still time to tell him."

Ray? Ha! Ray was her missing friend, poor thing would never get to tell her feelings to him. Oh this was even more perfect then I thought, everything was going my way. Soon it would just be Gee and I, only the two of us.

I woke up to a beautiful site, my princess was laying in my arms. She was facing away from me, her back towards me. Everything about her was perfect, and I never wanted this scene to end. Of course my dreams were shattered when the front door burst open.

"GEE! GEE!" It was Kay shouting for me, she was going to wake my princess up if she didn't shut up. She already began to stir, shifting underneath me. "GEE! GEE!" Fucking Kay, I would make her pay for this.

I removed my arms away from her, and she slightly opened her eyes. "Gerard.....what's.....wrong....." She asked sleepily, making me smile.

I brushed her hair out of her face and kissed her forehead. "Shhhh, nothing's wrong. Sleep my love." Her eyes closed softly again, my expression turned from love to hate. Kay was getting on my nerves now, I got dressed and ran down the stairs.

There was Kay smiling at me, "where's Emily?"

"Sleeping, no thanks to you. What do you want?"

"I want to show you something, I brought you a gift. It's in the kitchen." She walked into the kitchen, I followed after her not sure what to expect.

There sitting on one of the kitchen chairs was a young girl, about the same age as my Emily. Her hands were tied behind her back, duct tape covered her mouth and tear streaks on her cheeks.

"Who the fuck is this Kay?"

"Her name is Jade, she's a waitress and she's looking for her missing friend Ray. You remember Ray, don't you Gee? I thought we could show her where Ray is."

"What is wrong with you, have you lost your fucking mind? Why would you bring her here? This was a mistake you stupid little....." I noticed I had raised my hand in a striking position, Kay terrified and cowering. What was I doing?

"Kay, I'm sorry."

She started to stand, "I brought her here for you, I thought you would like her." Kay ran upstairs to her room, leaving me alone in the kitchen with Jade. I grabbed her and dragged her down to the basement, forgetting to close the doors behind me.

"Welcome to your new home." I switched on the light, her eyes widen when she saw the cages and her new family. With her trying to struggle against me I pushed her into an empty cage, Ray's old cage.

"You want to see your friend Ray again?" She nodded, "Im sorry I didn't hear you." I ripped the tape off her mouth, she screamed in pain. "Now do you want to see you friend?"

"Yes!" I gave her an evil smirk and walked to the furnace where her friend's remains were. After searching a bit I found what I wanted.

I kneeled down by her cage, "here he is." I brought out the charred skull of Ray, "say hello to your little friend." Jade screamed and screamed loud. I couldn't help but laugh, "what's wrong? Come on give him a kiss."

Slowly I inched the skull closer to her, laughing through her screams. I opened the cage and tossed the skull in with her before locking it up again. "I bet you two have a lot to talk about, I'll leave you alone now."

I switched off the light and closed the hidden room door but before I could move a small voice came behind me. "Gerard? Was that screaming?"

Quickly I turned from the door to see Emily, my Emily, my girl standing at the bottom of the basement stairs.
