He so gets me

It was really awkward seeing Leela at the bus stop, I mean I thought she would be riding the same bus as me it was just unexpected. I usually see her getting her ride from her boyfriend, I wonder why he didn't give her one today. " Hey Leela" I said without thinking "Yes?" She said looking at me with her beautiful eyes,"um I know it's none of my business but why didn't you get a ride from Todd?". I paused and thought to myself how nosey I was, it's clearly none of my business so why in the hell did I ask her, why control myself?. "Well me and Todd broke up last night, how did you know that Todd gave me rides to school?", fuck now I bet I sound like a creeper because I asked about it, " you two would pass by me while I'd walk to the bus stop". After I her that she looked really confused, she probably didn't see me. She was to busy being unhappy with Todd to notice me, it was sad just seeing her like that I could tell she hated feeling like that. Once we got to school I rushed to my locker so I could get what I needed and be gone by the time Leela gets there it wouldn't be so awkward, but that plan didn't work out so well. Leela was already at her locker when I got there, as much as I liked having her locker next to mine it sucked cause now it's going to be the most awkward thing in my life. " So how close do you live by the bus stop" she asked without eye contact, " well I at least live maybe two blocks away " I told her then I looked down. "Why do you go to that bus stop if you live two blocks away, don't you have a car?" she said shutting her locker and looking at me with a worried face. " Well I did but my brother Mikey was using it and got into an accident and totaled it, and I couldn't afford a new car so I walk to the bus stop." I thought it was a little too soon to just tell her my story but I couldn't help it, it just comes out of me.
