Can't Trust a Man in Red

Alek sits up and looks at Kat as she hugs paper. Weirdo. He stands up silently, then walks to and out the door. She didn't even notice. He walks towards the operation room, he just want to know what was wrong with his Echo.

He walks quickly, then peeks in the door at Way and Skylarc. They where both bent over Echo with their hands over her mouth. He was so scared he ran right in and pushed him away, then hugged her. Looking at him was Way and Skylarc. Way grabbed him and pulled him away, tieing him down. Echo doesn't look up or even make a noise, she just lays half thrown down. This scares Alek, but of course it would. He loved her and she loved him, he just wanted her safe.

Nobody in the room said anything, just let Echo be. They tried to keep their eyes off of her but they feared if they would look away, she would stop breathing. Only Way secretly wished she would just die, but kept it to himself.

Suddenly Echo sits up again and both Skylarc and Way turn and instantly hold her down. Echo doesn't resist but she looks up and lets a tear run down her cheek. Way helps her up and leads her to the bathroom while Skylarc prepares her food. Alek tied to the wall just lays and watches what he can not understanding what is happening to her.

Echo walks out with Way holding her steady. She climbs back onto the table and sits down, looking at Skylarc she then takes the food he hands to her. She eats quickly and doesn't even look up as she eats.

Alek, just wanting her to look at him, coughs. This grabs her attention and she does look over. Once she sees him, she jumps at him. She hugs him so tight that Way has trouble getting her away, but then just lets her hug him. Given up, he walks to a chair and sits down. Skylarc watches her and him hug and then sits down too. No voices or noises in the room, just a soft giggle from Echo every now and them.

Notes

Echo is a Alek love addict and Way is loosing care for everyone at the school house except of course his lovely daughter.
