Can't Trust a Man in Red

Gerard walks with Alek over his shoulder, thankful Alek doesn't want to fight. He walks towards Kats room and when he gets to the door he just walks right in. Kat looks up and sees its him and hugs him. He blocks all thoughts and lays Alek down. Looking at Kat with the sweetest face he can put on, he says, "Kat I need you to do me a favor and to keep an eye on him for me, can you do that for me?" He puts on a sweet smile as well, which isn't usual for him to act so happy and really mean it. And he did mean everything he was showing. He was happy when he was around her.

She looks up and smiles big. "Of course I can. Anything for you." She hops to him and hugs at his neck. She loved him and he loved her too. He kissed her cheek and walks out, shutting the door careful.

Walking back to Skylarc he thinks of all his mistakes as a father. He pushes the thoughts away and just whistles to twisted nerve. Pictures of him killing Kat and Echos mother crawls in and he gets a thrill. Now he wants to kill, great.

He turns back around and goes down a hallway. Chooses a door and walks in, looking down at a small girl with blonde hair laying innocently at her bed. He walks over and sits at the end of her bed. Then in the most seducive voice he can summon, says, "hello love."

He grins as she crawls towards him smiling back. He lays her down thinking nothing of how easily she let him onto her. She giggles as he bites softly at her neck. He stands up and takes off his pants and she lays down on her back ready for him. He climbs onto her and grasps her sides with his freezing cold hands, she squeals in excitement.

He gets off of her, her blood still on his face from breaking her neck. He pulls on his pants again and walks out feeling very satisfied with himself.

Walking back to Skylarc he thinks of how much of a shit dad he has been. He tries the excuse that his dad was shit too but then realizes that he should be a better dad since he knows what it's like. But then realizes that life just sucks and that we need to just live on and get over things. So he did and walked silently to where Skylarc was cleaning up.

He looks at Echo and gets angry. He really did hate her but had all the reason to. Way looks back at Skylarc and then backs up some and stands in the shadows, glaring down at Echo. Sylarc just puts the oxygen mask over Echos mouth and kisses Echos cheek. "Everything will be okay," he whispers to her, "I promise."
