Can't Trust a Man in Red

"So you're saying, we, as in you and I, are going to have a child?" Way asks slowly almost speechless.

"Mhm," Kat replies excitedly and hugs Way tightly with excitement, "Isn't this gonna be great?"

"Uhm, uh-huh." Way hesitates to answer, but does spit out his reply to her. He needed to be more happy for her, he's never seen her smile so big. It's cute how she smiles and he couldn't help but to smile with her, after all he loved her, even if he was her dad.

"So, watcha wanna tell me then?" Kat looks up at Way and kisses his jaw.

"Nah, it's nothing." Way answers smoothly, he couldn't break her heart like that. Not now anyway.

"You sure?" Kat was curious and he could tell.

But, Way wasn't sure. So all he could do was lie, "Mhm." He pulled on a fake smile and kisses her forehead and hugged her tightly.

Deep down Way could feel all his frustrations bubble and he just wanted to let them out, he was a dad already, but now had to pretend to be a new dad for his daughter. He felt so disgusted inside. He got up and walked into his bathroom calling out a "Brb!" before he shut the door. He felt bad for doing this but he writes a note and sets it on the sink cause he always has a pin and used tp as his paper but, he didn't care right now. He simply wrote 'Out to think.' in his scratchy writing.

He climbed out the little window and slide down the little pole he put up a long while back for quick escapes. He needed to so badly just figure this all out. He slips down the alley way and jumps up onto the dumpster and over the wall to the main street. He wondered around the entire town with his head to the ground thinking of what to do about everything that he had done.
