Can't Trust a Man in Red

Alek stands and looks out the brand new glass window. He smiles as he has thoughts of his childhood running through his mind. Echo walks up and hugs him from behind, making him smile even more. He looks down at her and she looks up at him and giggles. The two surrounded by a freshly painted, clean space. The clean up of the school made all of the past seem like only a dream.

Echo climbs to Alek's back and he laughs and carries her backwards out the door and down the hall, the hall shone of fresh white and light grays and a stripe of black running along the halls. Soon they turn down a smaller hallway and into a big room painted a bright green with a big bed with black sheets with alternating sizes green dots on it. Alek plops onto the bed with Echo still on his back. He giggles and licks her cheek. She smiles wide and kisses his cheek in return and pulls him up to her and snuggles into him.

"I love it here with you Alek. It's sweet of you to reopen it as it was when you where a kid, it'll be so fun to have some more happiness fill this place. I love you."

"I love you too Echo. And yeah, I've always wanted to see this place shine like it used to. I'm glad I had you to help me." Alek smiles to Echo and kisses her before he lays flat on his back and stares up at the ceiling.

"You know who I haven't talked to in a while?" Echo says honestly after giving Alek a moment of silence for himself.

"Who?" Alek answered with confusion.

"Kat, she left the day we started cleaning and I honestly haven't seen her around since."

"Hmm, I wonder where she wondered off to." Alek knew but didn't feel like getting up and he knew Echo knew too. Where else would she be?

"Do you think we could go on a visit? We need to go buy some window clearer anyway." Echo sits up and looks down at Alek as he closes his eyes.

"Alright, anything for you." He reopens his eyes and smiles up at her and then gets up as she does. They both head out the room and soon are out the door and walking the path through the freshly cut grass to the sidewalk. They make their way down the street, holding hands and smiling. Today was like any other day for them anymore, just bliss.

Soon the two are in front of the giant building they knew so well. The walk through the door to see there was no more a front desk lady, only an empty dirty desk. In fact, everything around them was dirty. The windows were broken and some boarded over, the chairs flipped over and the floor had big black spots of mold and rat droppings, and an overwhelming smell made the air hard to breath in.

"This is weird." Echo says in concern. Alek nods and walks forward more towards the door at the end of the hall.

Once there, he knocks and it just opens by his knocking. And that's when it all hit him, he rages in and picks up the man laying half naked on the bed with the overly skinny girl attached to his side with a sig in her mouth. He throws the man to the ground. "How dare you get high with her Gerard!"

"Kat?" Echo looks at the skinny girl with barely anything on.

The girl smiles wide and shakes her head. "Kat is in the other room taking care of that child of hers."

Echo's eyes get wide and she rushes out the room. She pushes open the door and sees a half dead being lying on the floor holding something small wrapped in the blanket. "Kat!" Echo rushes to Kat's side and hugs her tight. Then looks down at what Kat was holding. She screams as she sees the face of a decomposing child. She screams and suddenly she wakes. Alek wakes too and holds around Echo. She finds herself back in the old dark room of the school house. Just a stupid dream.

Did you really think I would kill Kats child? hahaha nooooo x3 but this is only the beginning o.o be on your toes because soon everything will take another sharp turn. I will be writing more often so look out for my next chapter some time later this week.
