Can't Trust a Man in Red

Alek wakes to Echo mumbling in her sleep again. Anymore, that's all she did when she slept. But, he didn't mind, he just held onto more tightely. Alek really did love her. Lying awake, he only stared at the ceiling and listened to Echos heart beating fast as her nightmares took place. He thought to himself of the park they planned to visit today with Kat and Way.

He layed completely still for almost 3 hours listening to Echo and thinking silently to himself before Echos dreams woke her. And she only rolled and hid her face in his shirt, and cried. He didn't mind, its how a lot of the nights where anymore, sometimes it was worse. Alek just hugs her and tries to silently comfort her, even kisses her head.

After a while, she lifts her head and kisses him softly. Echo hugs him tight then they lay in a snuggle listening to each others heart beats.

Soon they both find themselves getting up and putting their shoes on. They wanted to leave while Skylarc was busy doing morning chores that he did by himself anyway. They just had to be able to get to the door unnoticed, or else there was no leaving today.

They open their door and look down the halls in both directions. Then, seeing it was clear, goes silently, yet quickly, down the hallway, and towards the door. They keep their ears and eyes on full alert for Skylarc. He always was the suprise type and could be watching them right now for all they knew. They just tried to hurry, they wanted to just have some fun, not run away. They both wanted to come back anyway.

Just as they neared the door they hear behind them Skylarc. He didn't sound angry, but curious. "Where are you off to?"

"Well, Echo asked me to take her to this park she has always wanted to go to. We didn't plan on being long." He answered honestly.

"C-could I maybe, tag along? I don't think I've left this place in forever." He asked it almost too sweetly. Of course they couldn't say no to a good mood Skylarc.

"We also, sorta, wanted to go to the asylum and get Kat and Gerard. Kat is the only one who knows where it is." Echo explained, fully honest. Skylarc nods and goes down a hall, returning quick with his jacket on and the three push through the broken door.

They walk through the brush path and walk down the sidewalk, towards the sidewalk. Skylarc looks around in awe at all the new things that surrounded them. Alek held close to Echo. Soon, they stood at the stairs to the asylum. They rushed up them and go through the doors. Looking all around they make their way to the desk and Moon was at her desk to greet them.

Echo stayed kinda away from Alek and Skylarc as they talked with Moon, she didn't know her, nor care for her. She just wanted her sister.

As Echo stares at the wall with some pictures on it, she suddenly gets hands around her waist and that happy giggle she loved so much.

"Kat!" Echo turns around and hugs her sister tight.

"I missed you Echo." Kat hugs back just as tight. "I heard you wanted to go to that park still. I'm so glad we all can go, so lets get going."
