Can't Trust a Man in Red

Kat wakes slowly, feeling herself still snuggled to Gerards chest. She listens to his heart beat and to the silence around him, forgiving him for all he had done the day before, and was just loving him.

Suddenly, he shifts and pulls her higher and kisses her head, knowing she was up. "Good morning Love."

"Good morning Gerard." She responded with a big yawn.

"Still sleepy aye? Well how about we go see what is for breakfast after a quick shower?" He sits up and hugs around her and she hugs back and kisses his cheek. She then moves so she sits beside him and Way stands up. Way turns back to face her and to hold out a hand for her and she takes it. He drags her up, out of the bed and then walks with her across the room to the big bathroom there.

He starts the shower and starts getting undressed, Kat undressed too and giggles as she gets in with Way.

Both pulling on their clothes after their longer than planned shower. Gerard laughs a bit as he says, "Man, I really hope we didn't miss breakfast." Kat giggles and hurrys up and goes out the door with Way.

The two walk into the kitchen and sit at the big tablet, just inside the door. Way sat at the far end and Kat sat to his left. He held her hand as they waited for Moon to bring them breakfast.

Kat couldn't remember the last time she ate, but she didn't care. She was happy with what she was given and felt lucky to have such a gift, she loved Way.

Moon walks out with a tray holding two plates, a small cup and a large cup, and a pot of still steaming coffee. On the plates was scrambled eggs on toast. She handed Way the huge cup after she filled it almost to the brim with coffee. Wow, he must really like coffee. Then Moon hands her a much smaller cup.

"Good morning you two." She smiles to them and then hands them their forks.

"Good morning Moon. Thank you." Kat says politely.

"Thanks Moon." Way says plainly. Too busy drinking his coffee.
