No matter what it takes, I'll save you

Gerard's POV

"You okay?" I asked Rachel. "Yeah." She said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

I walked with her out of the room, she was soaking wet. Damn Mikey. I told her to go wait in the sun to dry off. I came back into the room and looked at the bed. There's no way we can sleep in that tonight.

I took everything out into the sun. I brought Rachel back inside. "You might as well just change into some of my clothes." She said okay and walked into my room.

We've gotta get another car, today. I walked into my room. Oh shit, Rachel was still changing. She screamed. "It's okay!" I yelled. "I'll face away. But listen to me. Get dressed into your killjoy outfit. Come up with one, rummage through my clothes. Okay? And find a mask or helmet too." I told her.

I left the room. She's gotta come with us, we would bring Brynn but, she's carrying precious cargo. We left her with Lauren. Those two can take care of each other, right?

Rachel's POV

I went through his pile of clothes. I saw a green shirt with faded sliver stripes. It had short sleeves with flowing wings, the wings reached my elbows. I grabbed it, I'll take this.

Now, pants. For some reason he had fishnet tights. I don't know. Anyway I'll take these. Okay, I can't just run around in tights I need something to go over them. I found a pair of purple tights with holes all in them. Sure.

Shoes. I saw some black ratty old sneakers. Good. I looked at the brand. DC. Wasn't this a shoe brand from like, 15 years ago? I giggled. These will do.

Gloves? Sure. Why does Gerard have a bunch of fishnet stuff? I laughed. I'll wear these. They went up to about a bit past my elbow.

Okay. Last thing I need is a mask or helmet. Hmmm. I think I want a mask. I want a black one. There was black mask, it was the same shape as Gerard's. And it had little purple stars in the corners. Awesome! I giggled. This is gonna be my killjoy outfit!
I got dressed and walked out of the room. "Gerard?" I said. He walked out of Mikey's room. "You look awesome!" Gerard yelled. I laughed. "You think so?" I asked. "Yeah! And you look pretty sexy too." He said with a wink. I blushed really bad.
