No matter what it takes, I'll save you

~ 2 Weeks later ~

Rachel's POV

Finally the guys came home. Brynn was weak and dehydrated. We fixed her up she's feeling all better. Her legs, were all swollen and looked infected. I got that under control too.

She told me Frank had died trying to save her. She kept crying for days. She said it was all her fault, that she should have been more alert. We all knew she still wouldn't have made it.

She's been throwing up a lot lately too. I don't know what that is, maybe she got an infection from the cuts. Yeah, that's probably it.

Other than all that, the house has been pretty uneventful.

Brynn's POV

~ 1 week later ~

I sat down on Frank's bed. It's been a month. I looked around the room, it was full of posters of ray guns from before this control from BL/ind started. He loved being a killjoy. I felt a tear run down my face.

"Frank... I'm sorry. I should have looked out for you." I choked out.

*kick kick* What was that? I grabbed my stomach. Was I, no. I can't be pregnant. *kick* There's no way. I got out of the room. All of a sudden I felt nauseous. I'm gonna, throw, up... I ran to the bathroom and, well you know.

Okay, there's a slight chance I could be pregnant, but I'm only 16! Oh my God. I'm only 16! I started to cry. Rachel heard me and walked in.

"What's wrong?!" She asked. "Do you think I could be pregnant? I've been throwing up and I can feel something in my stomach!" I yelled. "Well, not to make you feel bad but, yeah, there's a chance." Rachel said to me.

"Well, you could think about it in a positive way." Rachel said. "Think about it, a piece of Frank, is inside you. That child is a part of Frank. If it's a boy, I'll bet he'll look just like him. So when he or she grows up you can tell them about how brave their father was." Rachel said with a smile.

"You're right." I said. I looked down at my belly. I put my hands on it. "You hear that baby? Your daddy was very brave. And he would have loved you so much."
