No matter what it takes, I'll save you

Gerard's POV

"Gerard! Wake your ass up!" What the hell... Who's waking me up this damn early. I sat up, blinking my eyes to gain focus. I saw Frank getting dressed in his Killjoy outfit. "Gerard! Get your damn clothes on! BL/ind is about to kill someone!"

I jumped out of bed and ran to that box I have, it's where I keep all my stuff. I grabbed my jacket, gloves, belt and holster, jeans, mask, boots, and most importantly, my ray gun. I put all my clothes on and ran outside to the car.

~ At BL/ind ~

We walked up to BL/ind, we had to go in unnoticed. I saw a vent on the outside of the building. Ray walked up to the vent and shot it with his ray gun. It made a hiss noise, then popped off enough so I could tear it off. We all crawled through, ending up in some hallway.

We looked around, no one in sight. Thank God. We started to walk down the hallway, when, we heard someone scream. I bolted down the hallway, no one deserved to die, not like this, not from BL/ind.

I arrived at a door. It was locked shut. There was no getting in there. "Guys, the door is locked like a thousand times! There's no way in hell were getting in there." I whispered, but yelled. "Step aside." Ray said. He pressed his ray gun right up to the lock. "When I pull the trigger, be ready to fight." 3,2,1... Ray fired his gun about 4 times. The door practically fell off.

I walked inside the room. To my surprise, there were no dracs there. However there was a trembling, frightened, girl. Sat down in a chair, locked up, with a dirty rag shoved into her mouth. She looked about 14 or 15. I think we made her even more scared because her eyes had formed tears and she was breathing heavily.

I walked up to her and took the rag out of her mouth. She looked confused, but to frightened to do anything else. When all of a sudden dracs stormed out of a door connecting to the room. Ray, Frank, Mikey, and I all fired out ray guns in unison. I bet it looked pretty awesome to say myself. Very soon, more and more dracs had started to poor out of the door.

~ Little while later ~

Dead, each one of those dracs. We had killed them all. I slowly walked up to the girl. She just trembled in fear. I grabbed my gun, and pressed it to the lock. *snap* I took it and unraveled it from her body.

I examined her. She had blondish, curly, sorta frizzy hair. A round face. Her eyes, a dull green, the color reminded me of foamy sea green. She wasn't skinny, but not fat. And she was very tall, I'd say she was the same height as me.

"Hello, I'm Gerard. I'm not here to hurt you. Come with me." I took her hand and led her to the vent we came in through.

~ Outside ~

I led her to the car, and we drove home. She was very shy. She hadn't talked, not even once. When we got home. I took her hand, I guess I was doing that to make her feel safe, like I could be trusted.

I brought her inside our house. "What's your name?" I asked. "Rachel." She mumbled out quietly and I could sense a lot of nervousness. "Don't be scared of me, or any of the guys. We're here to save you, not harm you."
