The Screaming Hope

… as how to get up on the right foot after a fall.

(Frank Iero, 23 years old)

The colors gradually slip to the center. The lines become like compressed, darkness become dominant, the sudden end becomes one possible fatality. The light becomes enveloped by the black tide.
Which black tide? The one that represents the dark walls of the crevice.
The falling sensation embraces my whole body, unfortunately accompanied by a heavy pressure, reminding me of the collision impact I will be soon experiencing.
And also reminding me of the square thing that it's just in the same situation as me.
Fucking. Great. I will soon collide with the floor of the crevice and die and the last thing I will see is a goddamn sofa.

Wait, I will soon collide?

No, no, no, no, no, no, No, NO!
It's not happening.
This CAN'T be happening.
Darkness. Dot of light, far, far away. Pressure. Drop of sweat. Becoming multiple drops.

Brain!
I need to think. And faster.
So I am currently falling. I was holding Gerard's hand and he was about to pull us from the crevice. There was a crack then. I felt a heavy thing pushing onto my upper back, recognizing it and freezing at the sight. So it carried me into the hole. Which is where I'm fallihg currently. And since 5 seconds. No wait, it's been 5 more seconds since I began to think.
I can think, yes, but I better think of a solution.
/Which solution? Youre getting what you deserve.
What I... Deserve?
I never saw things from this angle. I'm not the religious type, but can I be currently descending to Hell?
Am I already dead?
No! You need to think of a solution.
It's been 5 more seconds. So I'm falling into the crevice since 15 seconds.
What?
Normally, I would have collided with the floor since a long time. Not long, long time ago, but you know what I mean.
I'm not the intellectual type either, but I can guess anyway that this hole is pretty deep.
Not good for me.

Brain!
You've just missed five more seconds!
As my body becomes more and more swallowed by the crevice's arms, I suddenly realize the danger. I remember those Physics lessons when we learnt stuff about gravity, movement and mecanic energy. The more is the falling distance, the more the shock and the impact will be consequent and violent.
Still not good for me.

BRAIN!
Before I think of anything else I feel the goddamn sofa poking on my back.
Fucking sofa. You're useless as fuck in the moment of my death.
As useless as...
Useless as...
As...
Well, it's just a sofa. It was a pretty comfortable one though. With giant cozy pillows.
Pillows...

PILLOWS??!

Brain!
What didn't you think of it earlier?
/Hurry up and flip the sofa so that you are on it.
I success in the flipping part. I lie on the sofa, gripping on it like my life is depending on it.
Well, it depends quite a lot.
It will protect me for sure: the pillows will absorb the strength of the impact.
But it won't absorb the incredible loudness of the lower wood part of the sofa, explosing underneath me. Or worse, I don't know.

/28...
Did you get what you deserve?
/29...
Did you get what you deserve?
/30!
Did you get wha-

Sudden burst of incredible pain running through the top of my brain nerves to the ones of the very tip of my toes. Destroyed pieces of the sofa projecting everywhere. Pain emphasizing. Ears being torn apart and growing deaf.

Not so deaf anyway, I still hear a very masculine voice singing devilishly, accompanied by a hard object - namely a gun, I don't even wonder - pressing on the back of my head.
The voice keeps singing. It accentuates one special line, to make sure I will hear. "Welcome to Hell, my child."

/Did you get what you deserve?
