Teacher's Pet

*Mikey's P.O.V*

I walked with Mae to her locker. Mine is right across the hall from her's. She kept talking about her favorite bands and books. She is really cool.
"Hey what class do you have first period.?"
"I don't know. I haven't gotten my schedule yet."
"If you want I'll go with you to get it." She smiled and blushed.
"I would love that."
She grabbed my had and pulled me down the hall to an office. She opened the door and gestured for me to go in.
"Hello Mae. What can I help you with?"
"Hi Sherryl. This is Mikey, he's new and he hasn't gotten his schedule yet."
I waved at Sherryl.
"What's your last name hun?"
"Way."
"Oh, you're Gerard's little brother."
"Yes, ma'm."
"Your brother is such a sweetheart."
"I bet he is."
"Here you go." She handed me my schedule and smiled, "Have a great day at northern and if you need any help finding your way around, ask Mae."
"Will do."
Mae smiled and waved as she opened the door again, "Bye Sherryl."
"Bye sweetheart."
We walked down the hall again towards our lockers.
"Okay," She giggled, "Now, what do you have first period?"
"Uh," I skimmed the paper, "Honors biology with Mrs. Potts."
"Me too!" She giggled again and led me down the hall.
"Is this the room?"
"Yup. I have to go get something from another teacher. I'll be back in a few. Bye." She ran off in the other direction. I opened the door and walked in. I grabbed my phone and shot Gerard a quick text.
Hey Gee.
What's up Mikes?
I made a new friend.
That's what you texted me for?
It's a girl....
Ohhh.....that's why you texted me.
Yeah and she's in your class.
What period?
I don't know.
What's her name?
Mae.
Last name?
No idea.
Okay. Well, I have students coming in. I'll talk to you later about Mae. Bye
Bye Gee.
I threw my phone into my bag and waited for the bell to ring. As soon as it did, Mae came in and sat next to me. I think I'm going to like this school after all.
