Never coming home

"Shh frankie. It's me. What happened?"
Gerard whispered and rocked me back and forth. I started crying again and curled up tighter in the blanket. I shook my head violently
"I-I can't..."
I whispered and buried my head in his chest. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me tightly.
"Frankie. The blood"
he whispered into my hair. I just cried harder.
"B-bob. I-I got back a-and he w-was here. H-he s-started hitting m-me and yelling a-and he....h-he raped me!"
I yelled and sobbed into Gerard's chest.
He stiffened and held me tighter
"I'm gonna get that bastard and make sure he never touches you again."
Gerard growled and softly kissed my head. I pulled away and winced at the pain in my lower back.
"You need to stop"
I whispered.
"Stop what?"
"Stop liking me. You're going to get hurt! I can't let that happen! Bob will hurt you and it'll be my fault like everything else!"
I grabbed my torn clothes from the floor and quickly and painfully, stumbled to my room.
I shut the door and collapsed on my bed, crying quietly.
'he can't like me. He can't!'
I sighed softly and closed my eyes, falling into a deep, dreamless sleep.

~~~~~~~GERARDS POV~~~~~~~~~~

i sat on franks bloodstained couch and sighed deeply. I can't help but like him! I need him! I have to protect him! But he doesn't want me. Of course he doesn't! Look at his relationship with bob! Of course he doesn't want a boyfriend!
i growled at myself and slowly got up, walking to franks room.
I opened the door and looked at him.
He was wrapped up in the blanket tightly, with his clothes next to him.
I sighed softly and slowly walked out of the room and out of the apartment.
"Goodbye frankie"
