Frank’s POV

I was forced to stay at the hospital overnight because of how much blood I had lost. They said I might have to stay here for a couple days so they can monitor me. Stupid blood loss. Screwed up my plans to stay with Gerard every second of the day.

He and my mom had had to leave at 6:30, the visiting hours were from 8 am until then. Technically family hours were extended until 7:30, but Gerard had needed a ride home anyway. So they had left about a half hour ago, and now I was all alone at the hospital and bored out of my mind. It was too early to sleep, and I wasn’t tired anyways. I really wish I had my guitar, Pansy, and could play her, but considering I was at the hospital both of those were a no. I didn’t even have my ipod so I could listen to other people playing music.

What did people even do before ipods and guitars?

Before someone calls me out on it, no, I could not read a book. There were none.

Sucky hospital, right? Jeez. You’d think they’d have something for the patients to do, but no. Every activity you could do had to be brought from home. Fucking hospitals.

I just sort of sat there wallowing in my misery at how boring it was here until they brought my dinner in. I was actually pretty hungry, and so as soon as the nurses left I took a huge bite of my food.

And then nearly choked on how bad it was. I had forgotten to ask what they had served me, and hadn’t really bothered to even look at it, just scooping some into my mouth.

Big mistake.

I figured out how to call the nurses back to ask them what I had just eaten.

As it turns out, that happened to be some kind of pork. No wonder it was disgusting. It was the meat of a slaughtered animal. I gagged when they told me, that stuff was nasty. I promptly explained that I was vegetarian, and they brought me some nice vegetarian lasagna instead. I was much happier with this arrangement, and it tasted a lot better. After eating that I finally decided it was late enough that I could attempt sleep.

I tossed and turned for a while, but finally fell asleep with the thought that the longer I slept the shorter until I saw Gee again. He had promised to come back right after school tomorrow and I couldn’t wait. He could definitely cure my boredom. Now I just have to figure out what to do until then…

So yeah. Here's the chapter. Sorry it's not very interesting, but what is Frank going to do in a hospital? He won't be there too long though, then the story'll be more fun again. :) See you next time~
