"And then I said, 'Nah, he just has stumps...'" Frank and I burst into laughter at his clever pun. I was starting to get lightheaded from laughing. "And then what did he say?" I asked when we both finally calmed down. "Oh, Gee? He just shook his head and mumbled 'Did you really just...'" We had a fit again. I laughed so hard I was doubling over, clutching Frank's arm for support as I heard him laugh even harder. "K-Kara... your... lips... are... t-turning... p-purple!" he said clutching his stomach trying desperately to stop giggling.
I heard a voice from behind me. "Hm. Glad I could tickle you like this." he said as I turned around to meet stunning hazel eyes with a dark ring around the iris. I bent over and stuck my finger in the air, telling him to wait. After I could breathe again I stood up straight and stuck my hand out. “Hiya, I’m Kara Blue.” He looked down at my hand and after a moment took it, looking back up into my eyes.
“Gerard. Gerard Way.” Frank piped up from behind me, “Um… yeah, okay. I guess this means I have to introduce you to the other guys?” Gerard took his hazel gaze from me to Frank. “Sorry, you might have to do that tomorrow. Mikes is sick in bed and Princess Fro-Fro skipped.” Frank ran his fingers through his short black hair like he often did when he was thinking. “Well, can’t we just come over after school? Fro-Fro will probably, wait-- no, definitely be there and I’m sure you had to beg Mikey just to stay home, am I right?”
Gerard smirked. “Yeah, you’d be right. I don’t really care, anyway. It’s not like Mom isn't used to it either.”

"No, dude! Are you kidding? What classifies a boy band isn't just having boys, said boys have to have hair like 2008 Pete Wentz and dance like SHINee." My neighbor, Jack, sighed after his argument with Frank as the three of us walked home. I heard the familiar click of his mirror as he started to apply cat whiskers with eyeliner. "Dude, why do you always do that?" Frank asked. Jack said "Because Dan Howell is the best human being and I already look like him so why not play it up?" and looked at me as I turned to him. "Hey, can you give me some today?"
"Eh, sure." He said as all of us stopped walking. Jack's dark brown eyes narrowed in concentration as he put a nose and whiskers on me and I heard Frank singing behind us.
"Kara and Ja-ack sittin' in a tree~ K-I-S-S-I-N-G~"
Jack still in a somewhat trance by his work, he said, "Dude, shut your tiny face before I punch you in the throat."
I heard Frank whistle in a somewhat nervous way and tried not to laugh. "No, seriously dude. You don't wanna make him mad. Once he kicked Jay off the roof and it broke both his legs."
"Damn..." was all I heard from behind me. "Hey, he was being an asshole to you and I was having a bad day!" Jack tried to explain himself before closing the eyeliner and putting it in his backpack. "Well, either way we need to turn here today so seeya tomorrow, man." Frank said, pulling me around the corner.
Frank played Panic! at the Disco on his phone as we walked down the cracked sidewalk littered with autumn leaves. We walked a little ways before Frank popped back into reality and said, "Hey, we're here!" and ran up the driveway to the house next to us. I followed and watched as he got a key off the top of the door frame which must've been difficult for him seeing as he's about 5 feet tall. We walked in and I was overwhelmed by the smell of coffee and a guy laying on the couch with a dog on his head(?) laughed. "First time here? Yeah, Mikey has an addiction." Another guy who looked closer to my age with hazel eyes that matched Gerard's sat up. "I do not." The first guy with the dog on his head sat up too and I realized he didn't have a dog on his head, just a really intense afro.
"Yeah, I know buddy. You can stop whenever you want." The hazel eyes guy clutched his stomach. "Can we not talk about coffee right now?" The guy I'm guessing is the one they call Princess Fro-Fro patted Hazel Eyes' back. "Sure, amigo. Wouldn't want you to think of that cream curdling in your stomach." And with that Hazel Eyes sprang off the couch and bolted to the bathroom. Frank cleared his throat. "So, yeah. This here is Ray or 'Princess Fro-Fro' as we call him and the guy in the bathroom is Mikey." So Hazel Eyes' name is Mikey...
"Ray, again?" I heard Gerard's voice from behind me. Ray sprang from the couch and ran to Gerard squealing "Geeeeeee!" and going for a hug before his face met Gerard's hand. "Have you been trying to make my little bro puke?" He said sternly. "I was bored..." Ray grumbled into Gee's hand. Gerard threw his head back and laughed before releasing Ray's face and greeting me. All of us made small talk for a minute while we waited for Mikey. Finally, he came shuffling unsurely from the bathroom like his legs didn't feel like his and pushed the hair away from his sweaty forehead before plopping onto the couch. "Hey, little bro." said Gerard and Mikey raised his hand weakly in recognition. "so now that the whole team is here whadda we wanna do?" Frank asked. "Let's throw a wicked party!" Gerard and Ray cheered. "Ugh please nooooo," Mikey mumbled and the boys broke into a fit of laughter. "Fine we'll just watch Rocky Horror Picture Show." Mikey sat up a little. "Now that, I can do."
